Believe it or not, I'm working. My normal day is from about 8:00 am until 2:00 am. That's one reason I get tired of hearing people whine...

At 6' 4"+ Chad Jackson is already taller than both Rondo and Lofton… and he’s still growing.

He penetrates and finishes better than Lofton at the same age, and has a better jump shot than Rondo does at this exact moment…

The fact that Chad is entering this season as a true freshman with a more complete set of skills and size than either Rondo or Lofton tells me that if he works his butt off for the next four years, you guys will be asking him for his autograph.

Why do you compare the weaknesses of Rondo and Lofton to Jackson. Why not ask Does he finish better than Rondo and shoot better than Lofton? If those guys are measuring sticks why would I not want to focus on their strengths to outperform? I think that Jackson has more upsides than down, don't sell him short by comparing him to someone else's weaknesses.

Jackson has been held back. I don't care how old he is, he has been held back. That gives him another year to play ball. Don't try to smooth it over. He's gonna have to improve his out side shot. Then I don't think I would compare him to Rondo, except neither one can shoot. Don't forget his buddy or you will be in BIG trouble.

Call it what you will, Jackson will be 18 upon graduation from high school.

His outside shot has come a long way, but I'll be sure to tell him you're concerned...

I don't have to defend this kid, his game will speak for itself in the coming seasons.

I don't know why you keep picking on good kids that have worked (and are working) their butts off to be the best they can be. If everyone had the character and work ethic of these young men, we'd live in a much better world.

Sigh... whatever...

I didn't bring up Rondo or Lofton, others did, and were scoffing that this high school freshman was not in their league. He may not be at 14, but I beleive that he has the potential to eclipse them-strength for strength-as he matures. That being said, I'm not into over-hyping kids before they have a chance to prove their abilities themselves.

Jackson's game can (and will) do all the talking that needs to be done.

Why is it that most on here like to pick and poke at the RH players but you NEVER see a RH supporter knock on any players from surrounding schools? Maybe you should spend more time coaching your own rather than knocking the kids over at the Hill.

When I think nothing can suprise me I log on to BGP and I find out that i'm wrong. A lot of the people who post on here have been around for a little while as others have been around both programs for a very long time. I guess what we really need to do is just agree to disagree I've been watching some of these post and some of them are getting nasty. Don't forget these word Every child is a winner

I also forgot to metion a huge congratulations to Arliss and all of the Beach family. What a wonderfull way to make a living!!

Believe me, I am not concerned about his shot, it is the adults trying to compare him with NBA players. Trying to rank kids all over the nation. Whose opinion is that? I've heard the wind blow before.

I'm finished with this for now, as it is leading nowhere...

Tearing down one kid with words does not make another kid look better.

Are you serious?

Not trying to tear any kid down, just trying to keep it real. You got 'em going from middle school to NBA, like superman, faster than a speeding bullet, able to leap tall buildings in a single bound

I don't have anybody going to the NBA. I just think at the end of the season Rose Hill will have two of the top five players in the region on their team. Eauton is allready getting credit, Jackson will open eyes.

Go reference the thread titled "Rowan County Girls Should Be Tough Next Season" and then report back to us about RH supporters knocking other players.

I just read the entire thread you referenced and I must admit I'm totally lost here... what RH supporter knocked another player?

The only two RH supporters I recognized in that thread were Scooterbob who made one post consisting entirely of one word, "Russell."

The only other poster that could be referred to as a RH supporter was LRCW, and he never bashes a kid from any school.

I'm not looking for a fight here Wireman, I am honestly trying to figure out what you're talking about???
