16th region starting 5

Featured Replies

Whether or not he is in the starting 5 or not I dont really care but if were matching up with outside regions give me MR. Smooth from Rose Hill. He is the best big time D1 point guard prospect from this state in the last decade or more.

Better than Loften?

Are we hinting that Kasey might want to return for his senior season??

:D :D :sssh: :sssh: :sssh:

Or Rondo.......

Or Rondo.......

Even better point!!! He's in the NBA after 2 years of college. I don't think the Rose Hill boy better than Rondo and Loften.

OH MY GOSH WE AGREE ON SOMETHING! :scared:

Outside of Rondo, who I forgot about due to his time at Oak Hill, I don't remember the last big time point guard prospect from KY.

Either way Chad is drawing some interest from some heavy, and I mean heavy hitters.

Several SEC schools have been in contact with Euton. One being the defending NCAA champs.

He has been contacted? Is that a rumor? I hope so because last I checked, that is illegal. I would say they are just rumors to get people talking about him. Which, it has worked.

I feel bad bringing it up, but remember the fine and probation handed down by the KHSAA involving the Gillum and Leadingham situation......
Let’s shoot straight here GIAT… if you genuinely felt bad, you wouldn’t bring it up… but since you did let me shoot straight.

I was honest when I said, “To the best of my knowledge…” Technically, I should have stated “To the best of my knowledge and remembrance…” The situation you point out had completely slipped my mind, primarily because it was ultimately so inconsequential.

The individual you referenced is no longer associated with the school, and has not been for several years.

I can’t speak for everyone, but I can state with certainty that there are some of us genuinely weary of all the woofing and posturing and politics and trying to out lawyer each other.

We just want to play ball... good, hard, within the rules competition that leaves everything out on the floor. No excuses, no cheap shots, no whining… win, lose or draw, let’s toss it up and play ball.

Maybe Coach Biggs can find a spot in his schedule for a tiny school just over a mile away. If not, maybe we’ll get to see you at the districts… :thumb:

I really did feel bad bringing it up, and actually debated for a few days whether to mention it or not. But that old Tomcat deep inside convinced me that it was my duty to make the correction. I know that situation does not necessarily have anything to do with the current administration at RH and that the main players in that investigation have long since parted ways with RH.

...so let's play ball! :thumb:

I dont make those decisions. There are probably still some different unresolved issues that would prevent that from happening. Who knows if that will change with a new coach? I dont have those answers.... (and thats one of the very few things I dont posses the answers to;) )

How in the world are you up this late? I thought they had an 8:00 bedtime at the nursing home?? But I understand, I'm tryin to type quielty so I dont wake my wife, she would lose her mind if she saw me up at 1:15 on BGP!! :scared:

Believe it or not, I'm working. My normal day is from about 8:00 am until 2:00 am. That's one reason I get tired of hearing people whine...

At 6' 4"+ Chad Jackson is already taller than both Rondo and Lofton… and he’s still growing.

He penetrates and finishes better than Lofton at the same age, and has a better jump shot than Rondo does at this exact moment…

The fact that Chad is entering this season as a true freshman with a more complete set of skills and size than either Rondo or Lofton tells me that if he works his butt off for the next four years, you guys will be asking him for his autograph.

I would think to be classified as "the best defender" you would need to finish the season on the team... ;)

OUCH

Jackson has been held back. I don't care how old he is, he has been held back. That gives him another year to play ball. Don't try to smooth it over. He's gonna have to improve his out side shot. Then I don't think I would compare him to Rondo, except neither one can shoot. Don't forget his buddy or you will be in BIG trouble.

Please IMO, go and check the age that Rondo was when he graduated, do the math and see the age difference of when Jackson will graduate. Your argument is weak.
