Seems the mafia arent sure about a lot of things. Here are two things that Im positive about

1. Everyone doesnt want a piece of old Joe.

2. Given a choice I want the guy who is smart enought to load the gun

 Is this and inside joke, or am I too young to understand?

Call your principal and or ad. Im sure one of them can let you in on it.

I'm not the ultimate source on the rules but I feel certain that Florida, Alabama, etc. knows the rules.

Maybe just to be safe someone should write Billy Donavon and Mark Gottfried a courtesy letter.

Why not just wait till they are sitting around in the gym at Rose Hill, chewing the fat with the coaches and watching the boys do their thing and ask 'em. [ Billy and Mark]They are probably there at least once or twice a week. Are they really trying to get a rule passed where they can take 'em before they play one game of freshman ball straight to college?

As a Freshman... No in-person, off-campus contact, telephone calls or personal correspondences from a coach can be made to you, your parents or your legal guardians

As a Sophomore... Collect or toll-free calls are only permitted at the conclusion of your sophomore year in high school. Also coaches may begin writing you.

"Either way Chad is drawing some interest from some heavy, and I mean heavy hitters.

Several SEC schools have been in contact with Euton. One being the defending NCAA champs."

Unless the 16th Region is exempt from these rules, those comments would appear troublesome.

Don't forget what school you are talking to about rules.

Just because they are showing interest doesnt mean any rule has been broken nor does it mean the boys will sign with a big time school. What it does mean is that the boys are on the radar and have some potential. Why shouldnt the people at Rose Hill be proud of the fact that they have great kids (and im not just talking about the players who have been mentioned in this thread) who do not cause any problems, do good in school, and at least have the possiblility of playing major college basketball.

Dont be a hater! Its not like they have brought a GUN to school.

Lets get another thing straight to. If anyone can actually prove that Rose Hill has broken some type of rule in the post OJ era then lets see some evidence. Quit talking and lets see it! Put up or shut up!

Come on Bandit. You posted it now prove it!

Richard, you know that the green-eyed monster can't help but rear it's ugly head. Why should we expect any different? Mr. Bandit doesn't have anyone being recruited to root for, so he chooses to throw out a barb at RH. Typical response. It's truly a sad, sad state.

Good point RickyP...I was pointing out the rules and making a gesture to be careful what you state. There are kids in the commonwealth and elsewhere that are on various levels that are being looked at by top programs. Just do not want to broadcast it in the wrong light whether it is true or not.

Outside of Rondo, who I forgot about due to his time at Oak Hill, I don't remember the last big time point guard prospect from KY.

ooops

Just a reminder before we get too carried away here fellas...

4. No school-specific recruiting comments or allegations of KHSAA rules violations by any school, coach, or player are allowed. No talking about where any player lives, has lived, or where they are from in a recruiting context. This is not the place to report KHSAA violations. Feel free to contact http://www.khsaa.org to report such violations, but do not discuss violations here.

Rose Hill has been scrutinized very closely by the KHSAA since 2001 and to the best of my knowledge, they have done nothing outside of KHSAA rules.

Let's keep this clean please.

Where did I say any rules were being broken?

I'm not saying you did, but after this post:
Don't forget what school you are talking to about rules.
...it sure seems like you were suggesting that Rose Hill has no problem bending the rules.

I'm just trying to keep yet another thread on the 16th Region from being closed, and two or three members out of hot water. :thumb:

I will play along too...Note: I will be the 1st to admit the 15th has probabily been as weak or weaker than it has ever been the last 2-3 years but here goes:

Region 16

PG Barker 5'9"

SG Vanhoose 6'4"

SF Ferguson 6'2"

PF Euton 6'6"

C Haney 6'4"

6th Man McDavid 6'3"

Region 15(I would have to start 3 guards considering there are really no centers in the region, and the ones who we call Centers aren't very good and don't stand over 6'3 just to be honest)

G-Landon Slone 6'3 Paintsville

G-Ethan Johnson 6'1 South Floyd

G-Jamie McCarty 6'3 Johnson Central

F-JD VanHoose 6'2 Paintsville

F-Tyler Hamilton 6'2 Pike Central(would be forced to play the interior, Thats why I have him starting)

6th Man:Jamie Case 6'2 Belfry

I just wanted to play along but I'd say the 16th would win with ease in this one.
