Scott 25 7. Conner 17 8. Campbell County 16 9. Newport Catholic 14 10. Beechwood 11 Others receiving votes: Dixie Heights 6; Lloyd 1; Walton-Verona 1
Hellbird Posted August 16, 2016 Posted August 16, 2016 I like it when they are listed at the beginning of the season ahead of Cooper Just like last year.
Voice of Reason Posted August 16, 2016 Posted August 16, 2016 Cov Cath ahead of Cooper and Scott? Are we sure about Scott? Especially after Lloyd waxed them in last week's scrimmage.
Hellbird Posted August 17, 2016 Posted August 17, 2016 How about Lloyd If Lloyd takes care of business this week they may not be out of the top 10 for long.
FanofMany33 Posted August 17, 2016 Posted August 17, 2016 I like it when they are listed at the beginning of the season ahead of Cooper Just like last year. I think they are every year, and Cooper takes that chip and quiets the crowd.
MentschTrachtGottLacht Posted August 17, 2016 Posted August 17, 2016 5 voters...I'm done griping about it.
NKYFBFAN Posted August 17, 2016 Posted August 17, 2016 I like it when they are listed at the beginning of the season ahead of Cooper Just like last year. Makes no sense. Cooper should be top 3 and they have had Ryles number for the past few years. SK is still clear cut #1
UK#1fanisback Posted August 17, 2016 Author Posted August 17, 2016 The good thing is Cooper/Highlands, Scott/NewCath, Lloyd/Walton, CovCath/Ryle games will sort the top 10 out a bunch.
mexitucky Posted August 17, 2016 Posted August 17, 2016 Cov Cath ahead of Cooper and Scott? That is a crap shoot. CovCath ahead of Highlands? Neither looked good in their scrimmage but Highlands still holds serve their.
gremlin35 Posted August 18, 2016 Posted August 18, 2016 I agree highlands has won like the last 15 meetings. Even if Cov Cath had all returning starter I still would have a hard time ranking them higher in a pre-season poll. All though this is the year I think CCH will win.
KentuckyJoe Posted August 18, 2016 Posted August 18, 2016 I think Scott will fall off Beechwood will beat NewCath I like the Birds ahead of CovCath until the Colonels get over the hump and get the win. I think they could and should this season. Holy Cross run game should carry them into top 10 this season.
Guest Posted August 18, 2016 Posted August 18, 2016 is it possible you could have three 2A teams on this list at sometime during the season NCC Lloyd and Holy Cross are all good teams
EagleBlood007 Posted August 19, 2016 Posted August 19, 2016 I think Scott will fall off. Is that based on a half of football in mid August against a top 5 2A school?
