August 18, 201610 yr Phillips quietly putting together a nice season. I admit I checked out on the Reds long ago but just checked his stats and they are better than most would have guessed. I happened to check his ref page and was amazed that in 15 seasons he has 95 errors.

He will tell his grand kids, I once pitched a shutout against the Cardinals only to have to idiots blow it for me in the ninth inning. What could have been!!! Just asking, do you ever say anything positive? Just so you know, to say you pitched a shutout means you pitched 9 innings of shutout ball, not 6 or 7 innings.
August 19, 201610 yr Joey Votto had 51 pizzas delivered yesterday to Ichiro's locker in the visiting clubhouse. Word is that Ichiro anonymously sent Votto doughnuts on Monday so this was Joey's way of returning the favor.
