To my knowledge no truth to comparing this to the Mason Co mess.

As Oldercoach mentioned earlier on this thread, just don't see how a Coach can jump ship from school to school this late in the game. Would think Mercer County would do something to block this, make him sit out a year, pay some kind of amount,etc., don't know what the options are. But if I'm Mercer, am not letting this guy Coach anywhere but Mercer without some kind of penalty if at all possible

If school hadnt started yet, well what contract?

August 16, 201610 yr Longer it goes, I think the less likely they will get Coach Cook. Should have been done by now if that was the plan.
August 16, 201610 yr If smart Clark County will do a intern basis coach for this season and open it up in the Spring. Best route in my opinion. My opinion but one of the best jobs in the state. You want someone that will establish and continue your middle school/elementary programs, AAU teams, and keep it a respectable program.

I think this job ends up going in house for short term and long term. Maybe two different guys for each of those, but both Clark County guys already there in the system. Who knows though
August 25, 201610 yr Does anyone know what the reason for Scott's termination was? I have seen guesses it was finances and I know Scott has had trouble with gambling previously, but I have not seen anything definite.
August 25, 201610 yr Really troubles with gambling result in divorce, bankruptcy, and getting beat up bad or killed . To the best of my knowledge Coach Humphrey still has his whole family, drives nice vehicles, lives in a nice home , and golf's when he wants to. You can hear all kinds of rumors.
