Speaking of: No town embraces their youth like Augusta. This community rallies around their basketball team. It's a cool thing to see.

This is the second one that came to mind. Really good team.

There were a lot of Bracken County fans who went to Mongonery County last year for the season opener. Also during the Ashland Invitational fans who were not related to any players came and stayed over night for all 3 days.

Mason County at Lexington Catholic in 2003 sold out the gym. The state fire marshall had to stop people from entering the building. And in 2008, they moved the game to Memorial Coliseum.

A basketball trip to Kentucky for high school basketball would not be complete without going to the Marshall County Hoopfest that usually takes place in early December. It usually attracts some of the top prep teams from across the country.

Definitely check out Augusta. It'll be one of the more unique basketball experiences you'll encounter in KY.
