Terrific athlete. he's not a high level college football prospect though. Not quite fast enough or strong enough arm.

 

Likely a mid-major basketball type of a player. Samford would be a good fit. Very smooth on the basketball court.

Ryan McDaniels from Louisville collegiate high school was offered by University of Alabama Huntsville. Anybody know this kid?

6' 9" or so. Transferred last year from St. X to Collegiate, became eligible around Christmas. Despite his size, prefers to play on the perimeter and he has a very nice shot. Thin, not very physical.

Its not D1, but Florida Tech (D2) offered C.J. Hennigan. This is also the place where Jordan Majors (Hoptown, '13) plays.

It may not be D1, but getting a higher education degree via an athletic scholarship is noteworthy and something to be very proud of. D1 or D2 is tough to obtain. I think I saw a stat that less than 1% of all high school players receive their college education with complete athletic aid.

Don't know the kid, but I'm familiar with the program. Bama Huntsville is a great hoops program. Kid must be a player.
