He had a great visit but called the coach the next day and told him thanks but no thanks. Great school and program but just wasn't for him.

It's all about it being 'a good fit' for both. Good luck, I'm sure he will find it. Nice player.

How many players have had offers pulled because they did not commit timely?

Huge cat and mouse game. You are the one they want until the guy they really wanted commits. Goes both ways if the player is good enough.

Great city. Great academic institution.

Miami O offered CJ Fredrick today.

Look like 2017 Luke Johnson of Lexington Catholic has committed to Loyola (MD) per his twitter.

KY seems to produce it's fair share of low/mid-D1 players. Who's going to be the next Elite player?

KyKy Tandy will probably be the next elite player.

Iowa has offered CJ Fredrick.

Big time offer for a fantastic young man. Won't be his last.

I haven't seen Frederick play and honestly don't know much about him but if Iowa offers him then he must be the real deal.

Ky Wesleyan offered 2019 JJ Ramey from South Laurel last year after a home game. You will not find any tweets or social media about it.

the 2019 class has potentially several HM players. Dontaie Allen and KyKy Tandy are high major talents offensively but neither can guard a chair. Michael Moreno is 3 more inches of height away from being HM. Kyle Rode can play at that level depending on the system fit or if he can grow two inches. And JJ Weaver will have basketball offers but he's already been offered by Louisville for football so we'll see what happens down the line with his recruiting.

I saw video of Frederick playing against Taylor County last year. I saw him pick up Q Goodin full court and pressed him as a Sophomore....pretty much all I needed to see. CJ ended up with 28 points on 11 of 12 shooting. The one sample size I saw summed it up....kid can ball
