Well after coming home from a fun 7 on 7 weekend, I am ready for the real thing. With that in mind and the upcoming season on the horizon, I decided to piggy-back on what CWB did over in the NKY Power Ranking Discussion right here for our beloved Western Kentucky Region.

I would put Hoptown at #5 and bump everyone else down a spot, but other than that, looks good.

Unsure so I will speculate from here on some worthy of consideration

 

 

BG is likely #1, SW returns a lot as does MF but SW maybe even more loaded than MF. I am unsure what Owensboro, Henderson, Christian and Hoptown have back. OC will not be as good but still likely to be in that 10 range. Murray also shouldn't be as good but could still be around the 10 range. Russellville and Butler Co should both be better and are likely in that 10 spot range. PT has the buzz with the new coach but I will not put them in until they actually show improvement on the field.

Do you know something we don't? You are the first person I have heard mention Calloway. I have no idea what they return but it would need to be a heck of a improvement to make this list

To be honest I had a hard time coming up with #10 but this last weekend they looked decent at a 7 on 7.

Franklin Simpson at 5 or 6 but definitely in front of Hoptown since they beat them at their place in playoffs and they have a ton back and also Greenwood at 9or 10

I forgot about FS somehow, they are certainly list worthy

Christian County is being vastly under-valued. Huge number of returning starter, 2 players committed to FBS schools, QB that is a '18 Div I recruit, other very good players around those guys. 2016 has been a year they have looked forward to for a while.

In any of these lists, I would add Russellville anywhere from 8-10. And a sleeper team to add would be Butler County.

FYI,

Daviess Co., Monroe Co, F-S, Warren East, & Butler Co. are all scheduled for today's 7 on 7 at BGHS.

Hoptown will probably go 9-1 but that's because of a weak schedule..... I think your list is pretty darn accurate.
