Does BLM have someone who is quickly identified as the spokesman for the group? Who is their leader / spokesman?

I'm not aware of any spokesperson. From what I can gather, there is a more formal chapter based organization, which seems to be directed by the operators of the blacklivesmatter.com domain, and a loose amalgamation of activists and protesters united by the #BlackLivesMatter hashtag/slogan. It further seems like the former are more prevalent on college campuses and the latter are more indicative of the public protests in various cities we've seen, though I don't think they are mutually exclusive. I don't think there is a precise leader or leadership outside of the chapter based organization.

If you can label BLM as a terrorist group based on the actions of a few, I can do the same with Law Enforcement, correct?

If you can back that up based on the criteria by the FBI site, I challenge you to do so and will accept your definition.

Thank you. Didn't say I hadn't seen anything, just that I had seen anything..yet

The mic dropper strikes again.

Yet you don't comment on any of the other information....interesting position

Yet you post a message that seems to be originated from a "spokesperson"...hence the mic drop

And this is part of the problem. When you have a loosely affiliated organization, with the perception that there is not a formalized "leader" then it becomes difficult to differentiate the message.

Why we would not listen to someone who proposes to be a BLM leader that is advocating violence ? After all, the followers of these alleged leaders are the ones being pawns for their message.

Interesting how that works, the follower who actually operates on the message of violence becomes the pawn for the system....and then disavowed by that very system as not part of the movement.

That makes it too easy to not be culpable.....

Was there any explanation why the players had the Dallas Police shield on their t-shirt? I read that to be an attempt to show support for the Dallas Police. Am I looking at that wrong?

Absolutely. When an organization, with defined leadership, calls for any act of violence against any other group, within the borders of our country....by definition, they are a domestic terror group. What's humorous about that ? It's just factual

"Domestic terrorism" means activities with the following three characteristics:

Involve acts dangerous to human life that violate federal or state law;

Appear intended (i) to intimidate or coerce a civilian population; (ii) to influence the policy of a government by intimidation or coercion; or (iii) to affect the conduct of a government by mass destruction, assassination. or kidnapping; and

Occur primarily within the territorial jurisdiction of the U.S.

FBI — Terrorism Definition

No one truly involved with BLM has called for violence. In fact.....

I understand what you're saying but is the organization doing the threatening or is it some of the members? I haven't really paid close attention but I was thinking the organization had disavowed many of the prior threatening comments.

They have. Don't fall for the smear campaign.

It was in the BLM Statement link that Habib posted.

I'm not trying to be a butthole or scare anyone but BLM isn't close to a domestic terrorist group because we aren't in the midst of a race war right now. Knowing what I know now if BLM was what a lot of people thought it was we'd have started the race war months ago. A lot of you have no clue about BLM and only know what your links tell you. BLM doesn't consist of thugs. BLM has college students, doctors, lawyers, politicians, educators, blacks, whites, Asians, Indians, rich, poor, educated, uneducated and passionate members. What makes some of you think I'm not in BLM? It's real easy to join. Let me know if you want in. I'll be happy to have you aboard.
