June 19, 201610 yr Anonymous - If more #Pulse club patrons were armed, could... | Facebook Well @ScienceFriction , do you want to take away Grandpa's gun?
June 19, 201610 yr Author Wasn't there armed security in the club in Orlando? The armed guard was scouted and eliminated. Grandpa could not be planned for! Just reinforces the point that you cannot count on someone else protecting you. You cannot delegate your personal security in today's world.
June 19, 201610 yr Author Wayne Lapierre doesn't even support guns in clubs. Good thing too! Makes them soft targets, easy for picking off in clusters.
June 19, 201610 yr NOT ONE THING will ever stop a massacre. If someone wants to kill a lot of people then they will find out a place or way to do it.
June 19, 201610 yr I go to church with two guys I know for a fact are carrying and I sit as close to them as I can get every time I'm in the building.
June 19, 201610 yr Wayne Lapierre doesn't even support guns in clubs. Nor do I of patrons. Alcohol and firearms don't mix. I do think if they had more trained, armed personal at clubs a shooter could be stopped with a lot less carnage.
June 19, 201610 yr NOT ONE THING will ever stop a massacre. If someone wants to kill a lot of people then they will find out a place or way to do it. This is the most to the point and honest statement made when it comes to acts like this. If someone has it in their heart to kill, they will find a way in most cases.
June 19, 201610 yr I've seen enough Westerns to know that guns in the saloon ain't good unless it's security. More guns in society in appropriately trained hands don't bother me one bit.
June 21, 201610 yr I go to church with two guys I know for a fact are carrying and I sit as close to them as I can get every time I'm in the building. I've seen enough Westerns to know that guns in the saloon ain't good unless it's security. More guns in society in appropriately trained hands don't bother me one bit. Case in point: Rio Bravo, John Wayne with Dean Martin. Martin's character couldn't keep his hands from being jittery in the saloon when he was challenged by the bad guy 'cause he was a drunk. Re: rest of your post -- Great! We're pullin' the wagon in the same direction with this post!
June 21, 201610 yr Looks like it might be a .380 I think you are correct about it being a .380. Saying that, those probably were "hits" just a .380 is such a low power round that it will not know someone over, will make them run, just not knock them over.
