June 14, 201610 yr Then Cal knew. Twice. Ouch but yeah, I'm so sorry to have to agree. So Dean Smith knew. Jim Calhoun knew. Jim Boheim knew. Paterno knew. Bobby Bowden knew. Etc.
June 14, 201610 yr That target on his back just got bigger. Some people just don't know when to shut up and leave well enough alone. He likes to be the topic of every discussion. Another reason I can't stand him
June 15, 201610 yr Of course they know. And maybe Cal should focus a little more on knowing about his underage drunk players.....hmmmm
June 15, 201610 yr So he admits to knowing about cheating at Memphis and Umass done by him and staff? Of course they know. And maybe Cal should focus a little more on knowing about his underage drunk players.....hmmmm What part of..."on your campus, or your assistants were involved", did you miss?
June 15, 201610 yr Author What part of..."on your campus, or your assistants were involved", did you miss? It was a perfect attempt by him to throw shade at other coaches while trying to say "I didn't know, wasn't on campus." Any reasonably smart person can figure that out. It was a bad look.
June 15, 201610 yr It was a perfect attempt by him to throw shade at other coaches while trying to say "I didn't know, wasn't on campus." Any reasonably smart person can figure that out. It was a bad look. We believe the same thing. Definitely was a perfect attempt attempt to throw some shade. He was probably throwing shade at other coaches because he probably feels like media typically kisses their butt and/or NCAA has such a double standard. Pitino goes on Mike & Mike after the scandal and they ask him cupcake questions. The NCAA let's UNC completely off the hook with what should have been one of the biggest scandals I've seen in my adult life. Calipari is probably treated a little differently now that he's at UK, but I bet it's a little hard to not be bitter about getting ran through the coals for far less than what happened at UL or UNC.

Has Cal ever answered why Rose went from Chicago to Detroit to take the ACT? And how he just happened to get tickets to a Pistons playoff game while he was in town. A town that known Cal supporter World Wide Wes just happens to have a major presence in? All just a coincidence, I'm sure. Nothing to see there at all...
June 15, 201610 yr Author Maybe it is, maybe it isn't. But, he's probably not wrong. If he's not wrong, then he is admitting guilt himself.
June 15, 201610 yr If he's not wrong, then he is admitting guilt himself. He self-reported at UMASS and Rose's incident was off-campus (among other things) --- I'd advise giving the original article another read.
June 15, 201610 yr Author He self-reported at UMASS and Rose's incident was off-campus (among other things) --- I'd advise giving the original article another read. So because it was off-campus he didn't know?
June 15, 201610 yr So because it was off-campus he didn't know? :lol:I never said that. Just that Cal being right doesn't mean he admitted guilt. If you check out the article you linked you'll realize that too.
June 15, 201610 yr Author I never said that. Just that Cal being right doesn't mean he admitted guilt. If you check out the article you linked you'll realize that too. I read the article, obviously. He can't infer that about other coaches, and then so conveniently try to exclude himself by using "off-campus."
