Seriously, I'd never support any Candidate that didn't support the 2nd Amendment. If Trump or any Republican Candidate came out calling for a national gun registry, exorbitant taxes on firearms or ammunition or banning of any currently legal firearms, they would lose my support and vote.

Your last paragraph really is the key point in this election. We have two very flawed candidates. There is so much character assassination in politics today that character is becoming a non-factor. With both of them having so many flaws voters will likely circle back to the issues most important to them and the candidate most likely to promote those issues. It always comes down to what's in it for me, and that doesn't mean strictly what will put money in my wallet. The large majority of voters are going to support their party's candidate no matter who it is because of the issues. There are probably less than a half-dozen posters in these political threads who would vote differently if the candidates were not Trump or Hillary.

My wife said that she will either not vote or may possibly vote for Trump. She despises Hillary Clinton and cannot comprehend why so many women are voting for her just because of her gender, without taking into consideration her complete lack of a moral compass.
