Raceland 21 Ashland 16

To cvillecat and old rambler, don't get worked up over the early post. I hope that Raceland has a good year and wish the best to allot of good friends in Raceland. I was just throwing out a point. Good Luck Rams in week 2 against Rowan.

I wasn't worked up at all bball,:thumb: I was just stating my opinion based on what I belived to be fact on the Raceland football stats. I probably wouldn't have had the "fire truck" thing myself but I didn't see anything wrong with it. Had they came down all the way back through Ashland and rt.23 on the way....yeah, there would had been plenty wrong with it. The so called parade as I understand it was approx. 1/4 mile long leading from the city limits straight to the fieldhouse. Now, I will get to the Rowan Co. game and the discussions on that. This game is over and it is week 2.

To TBF, he could never lose any of his friends. He is an prime example of great character in Raceland.

Thanks. Don't know if I deserve that or not!!! But very kind of you to say so.

:thumb: I agree 100%!! He very seldom misses a game at home or on the road.

Seldom? Is that all you give me credit for? I think it is 20+ years since I missed a regular season football game. :D

You desrve it TBF, you are and always have been a true "Rambler" and I, value and respect your opinions on Racealnd wether I agree with all or not. Thanks for all the support and work that you have given to the Ram Pride Nation.

I give you all the credit TBF, but be careful you are going to tell your age. That is what makes Ram football what it is. I think we have several fans with the same type of record. I know there have been several away games that we have more fans than the home team. I think last week was a prime example of that. Of course that is counting the support we got from other local schools that came out in our support.

Your support is well appreciated TBF & your work with the programs is respected. Orange Blood runs deep in Ramland!!!

Don't embrace success so quickly. And I think many times these celebrations divert from the task at hand and that is winning a district, regional, and state title.

I remember the undefeated season a decade ago. I also remember a public celebration and bonfire to congratulate them just before the opening round playoff game. TBF said they should wait until the season was over and few agreed. I realize NCC was a good 4 seed but I believe the score was something like 48-0. I agree these things can easily cause kids to lose focus.

I can see yours and TBF's point, imo it is up to the coaches to bring the kids back down to earth and to get them focused on the nest game which I believe that they will.
