Exactly. No matter who our next president is they will be a very weak one with no real ability to push through their agendas. On the domestic front I think either one would be a push due to a lack of power. On the international front I believe Trump would do much more long term harm to the US.

 

I'm not 100% certain, but this may be the very first time you've ever agreed with me. :lol2: It's a good feeling.

Well, that darn wall isn't going to build itself. Add the extra 10 feet he added to it's height back at the debate a couple months ago, and that's probably half those jobs, right there. :lol2:

How am I wrapping my head around it? I'm preparing for the worst. I'm getting my affairs in order and preparing to just keep my head down and grind out thepotential 4-8 years of insanity. I'm expecting the plight of the working man to significantly deteriorate. I'm expecting upheaval in foreign affairs. I'm expecting the fat cats and big business to accelerate plans to put profits for shareholders above sustainable livings for workers. I expect a wholesale attack on the poor, the immigrant population, and women's rights.

 

On the other hand, I'm fairly certain that if Trump becomes POTUS, the interminable obstructionism in DC continues and stymies his plans.

 

In the end, despite all the hopes to the contrary, Trump will be no more able to implement his full platform anymore than President Obama.

 

What do you think is going to happen to the average working person that will deteriorate their situation. Is there something specific or is this just political rhetoric? I'm not being argumentative I'm seriously wonder what makes you feel this way.
