March 17, 201610 yr A lot of things to call out HRC on. This is not one. Bad endorsements hit all candidates. I doubt @mountain ref posted this to "call Hillary out" on this. He did it to show the double standard that is applied to Trump (and other Republicans) vs any Democrat candidate. Trump had denounced David Duke many times and yet when he didn't put up a billboard one more time the media and the democrat candidates were implying that it was because he really does want David Duke's support. It is nonsense to say that HRC wants the endorsement of the KKK and it was nonsense to say that Trump wanted Duke's endorsement. But what is even worse, were the low blow attempts by the media and Democrat candidates to hang that on Trump. mountain ref is pointing out the hypocrisy.

March 17, 201610 yr The reason Trump got called out on this is because he was asked the question point blank publicly, stumbled through the answer, and didn't really give a true denouncement until a couple of days later. In HRC's it's just one a random guy from the KKK telling some folks who he endorses. Two different situations. Throw in Trump's stances on immigration and his comments about Muslims, and it's easy to see why Trump took more heat. Had Trump just answered the initial question and not danced around, this never would have been an issue for him either.
