Sorry but the talent from Turkeyfoot is already at Dixie and struggling. Dixies best shot at winning in the regionals is next year with Davis and Brock returning. However the word is one if not both are transferring.

 

Davis would be a loss to the team. Believe the program could handle the loss of Brock plenty of younger girls could play her role as a shooting guard. The best option for seniors is to stay put where you are, could be a valuable lesson about the grass isn't greener somewhere else. I hope this is a rumor for the players sake..

Josh Feldmann has stepped down as the Bishop Brossart (Alexandria, Ky R-10) head coach after six years (115-62). Josh cited family responsibilities as his primary motivation for resigning.

 

Wish him the best of luck in the future.... His teams were tough as nails.

Holmes could be open ...I know I talked to Coach Perkins in January and he was thinking about retiring after this season. Not sure if he has decided to come back another year or not.

What happened at Fern Creek with a change middle of the season?

 

A tough job considering the district - but should be one of the better JCPS programs outside of the traditional schools and Central.

It is a very tough job with the district and hard to get girls into the school. Yes you can win 20 games and not even make the regional tournament. The last coach I heard was up set about the school not letting in AAU girls.

The last coach was only going to be there until his daughter graduated which was this year. Everybody knew that when they hired him. The problem at Fern Creek is a double standard with the boys and the girls. Boys run AAU workouts on Sunday morings. Girls not allowed to. The administration and the AD do not care about girls sports at FC. It's been like that for years. Anybody that tries to buck them and support girls, gets gone! This year's coach the latest example.
