I made my perdiction several weeks ago. Im sticking to it.......

Assuming the BG QB and C are out I think the advantage goes to the visiting Tigers. St.X 28 BG 13.

X-21 BG-17

I've noticed that about everyone has Saint X picked by a small margin in a low scoring game (much like last year's game). Is there any chance that Saint X wins in a blow-out, especially if BG's QB is out???

I have a tough time seeing St. Xavier roll up points because Bowling Green's defense is formidable. The Purples probably aren't quite as good up front as they were a year ago, but their linebackers and secondary can swarm with the best of them.

Frankly, the quarterback isn't one of Bowling Green's key offensive players, in terms of playmakers. Offensively, the key is the line's ability to run-block and avoiding turnovers.

Is this game Saturday? What time? Any other games played before or after? What exit do you take to get to the stadium?

5pm Saturday St X vs Bg

8pm Warren Central vs Franklin Simpson

Take Exit 28 and it is a straight shot to the stadium.

That would be 5pm CENTRAL time / 6pm EASTERN time. Second game to follow accordingly. Can't wait. Should be a really good early season test for both teams.

Calling for a chance of rain. Brings back memories of last year. At least this year we'll get home before 4am.

GO TIGERS!!!:ylsuper:

Is the game on radio in Bowling Green? If so, what station?

Additionally St.x replaces a number of skill players and linemen as opposed to BG who returns at least a few on both sides. I believe x has only 3 returning starters, one of them being Victor Anderson of course, but one player cannot win a game alone. I would not be too shocked to see BG come out with the win in this game. Either way though I don't think I can come up with a prediction of my own just yet, I need to think about it a little more before I could come up with one.

As I've stated before, there is a big difference between St. Xavier and Trinity losing a bushel of starters and other schools doing the same thing. St. Xavier and Trinity have more depth than anyone else in the state because of the numbers in their programs. In many cases, the seniors starting for the first time at Trinity and St. Xavier would be returning starters at the majority of other schools.

St. X 20

Bowling Green 12

I predict a low scoring affair, X 10, BG 7.
