Did anyone who went to the game see any MBA coaches lurking around?

I want to preface this post by saying I am an outsider. I am forced to agree with the statement by TonyDanza. Certain Trinity fans are so arrogant, they invite a degree of contempt from other 4a powers.

After reading some posts over the years here I can understand that.

Your Right Rocks44; I believe he surprised everyone especially with his passing. He has improved over the summer.

I was impressed by #98 inside linebacker on the J.V. Team for Trinity.

I.M.O. It won't belong before he sees varisity time.

I want to say #98 is a Soph. named Jodan Witting(sp?), but I can't be for sure. If so, he will see Varsity time this year.

I just finished watching the GAME FILM and counted each and every TD, Touch Back, 2 pt. conversions etc.:thumb:

I don't believe this.

I think the ROCKS looked good in some areas and needed a little fine tuning in others e.g timing/responsiblities. Scott County looked good on a few trick plays and that's the main reason the score was what it was. I think the Cardinals/Rocks scrimmage each year helps both teams in preparing for their season. Hope it lasts. ROCKS will be in fine shape come 8/26. GO ROCKS.

Jordan Whiting wore number 98 and will wear 38 in regular season. I believe he made five consecutive tackles(or at least assisted) in one series in the JV portion.

Yes, Varsity portion 16-15 Scott County and JV Trinity 18-6 as no PATs were attempted in this portion.

Noticed that Manual staffers left at halftime. Also noticed Mr. Coverdale did not call any intermediate pass patterns(no 10-20 yard routes). According to "Stats", Petrino was 6-12 for around 65 yards. He did rush for 48.

The varsity did a little extra running Saturday morning, with the offense doing more wind sprints.

I was disappointed as I have witnessed every Trinity scrimmage with Scott County through the years. I expected much more from an offense that has averaged 41 points per game since 2000.

One defender got burned a couple of times and I'm sure the coaches will have his attention. The flea flicker (double handoff and then lateral to QB who then completed a long post pattern pass) was probably a little pay back for the two point conversion (Scott County failed to cover wideout on PAT).

The fact Scott County did have one scrimmage under their belt may have aided their cause. The same will be true when Trinity opens with MBA, so c'est la vie!("that's life" for those BGPers who didn't take French). It's not quite time to "fire them all":thumb:

In all due respect, Why not???

Does anyone have an "Officially - Un official" results to the Varsity, JV and Frosh scrimages between Trinity and Scott Co.?

In all due respect, Why not???

Well because that would mean that you are either a player or coach, if that's the case, you should be acting more like one or the other.

Settle down fellas.

What defender might that have been, the defense worked pretty well the other night and they wont see a quarterback of that athletic ability the rest of the year. This defense will get stronger everyday as they spend more time together its all about getting the right feel for each other and they are gaining the confidence in each other that will make them successful.

Congrats to Scott Co. Best regards to Trinity as well. I hope both teams play to their potential.

IMO, Trinity faces an additional pressure than most schools. The top 3 or 4 in each class face additional expectations. In my respect, the community in Belfry seems to live vicariously through their high school football team. This goes on across the board at the traditional powers in each class, but to an even greater degree at Trinity. I can't personally criticize it. I certainly expect a great deal out of the Belfry Pirates. It takes a nice dose of someone telling me to "get a grip" from time to time to realize that these are 16,17, and 18 year old kids.

Hopefully both Scott Co. and Trinity will have banner seasons. I guess I am just asking fans to take a step back and realize these are just kids. And be assured, I am not the "always positive" fan. I get WAY to into it, but there has to be a way to attack the game with intensity AND be mature. Lets all hope the kids are able to understand that winning is most certainly the goal, but humiliaty and respect for others are mutual goals.

Boy!! would you be surprised!!!!

;) I would doubt that.
