Has it ever crossed anyone's mind that, God forbid, Scott County might be just as good as T and X?

We'll find out in a few months, as of now, for three quarters, they sure were.

I'm talking about this year's team. That's the point. Maybe Scott has dramatically improved this year to where they don't get "clobbered."

Wiil you buy drinks again this September as you have for the past two years, or will you just sneek on home? :D

That has crossed my mind, especially since t has remarked over the past 4 years how Scott Co. was such an overrated team, after clobbering them in scrimmages. It's really funny how this year the word is that the game was strickly a scrimmage (practice), and the fact that it was not the normal blowout in favor of the pebbles is a meaningless thing. Let's face facts, Scott Co. has a GOOD TEAM!

You know Mr.Oxnard I've been following S.C. Football for sometime now. The S.C. teams you thought would go all the way didn't (2003). The teams you was told and thought wouldn't; did (2004). So all I have to say is that it's encouraging. :thumb:

I know you weren't talking to me but I'll take you up on that offer... That is if you will buy the drinks again this December.

I'll be glad to buy as long as you promise not to disappear half way through the 3rd quarter as half of your "fans" have for the past two Septembers. Most of the ones I tried to colllect from after the September games were reported as MIA's, and I was left with an empty mug.

Thats funny, I've had that same experience with the green and gold clad fans. Not me though, ask around I'm a "thick and thin" fan. I'm there to the bitter end. I may be hoisting one to celebrate or drowning my sorrows but I'm there. Of course that may have more to do with avoiding traffic than anything else (just joking).

Its one thing to be humble and socialize... another to take your lumps etc, but to be totally embarassed, its time to go HOME.........:D

Embarassed? How can any team of young men that work as hard as these kids do be embarassed? In life you win some and you lose some, sometimes by greater margins than you would like. But if you give your all, even if you come up short, there is never any room for embarassment. I don't know about you but I've never been embarassed by or for anything in sports. Some guys just don't get it.

I was referencing the earlier post about FANS gathering after the game(s)... Has nothing to do about the actual kids playing on the teams.... I agree, with your point, however, Im sure that when one (player or team) underachieves, it gives them motivation to work harder and become more diciplined in their approach to the next challenge. Not trying to belabor the point, but I would speculate that the rock players and coaches would describe some of their feelings as "embarrased" after the Routs of '95, '04, and '05. I would say the same for X fans in last years final => Embarrased...

Not in a four quarter game.

Me too....I am there throughout, no matter what.

I will give you 1995, they were much, much better. '04, '05 more of a shell shock, and the demons got exorcised.
