Not sure about Mullins. But the whole Wiggins ordeal stems from a Newport game thread in which someone asked if Wiggins played. There is no Wiggins on Newport's team. So now, as a joke, in every Newport game thread someone uses the "Wiggins didn't play" reference just as a little joke.
