Mason County/Bishop Brossart predictions

Arguably the game of the week in the 10th Region as we close out the regular season.

 

Royals will go to Alexandria red hot, winners of 6 straight, and Pig Williams is playing some great basketball.

 

Brossart, on the other hand, has been struggling some. Mustangs have lost 4 of 5, but have a home game tonight with Lloyd and then get Mason tomorrow to wrap up their regular season schedule.

Games at Brossart so id give them a slight edge. Very tough place to play.

If Williams and Mason Co. plays hardnosed defense like Murray did against BB in the All A, BB must shoot better and have fewer turnovers than field goals. If not,Mason Co. wins this one.

Mason will have difficulty penetrating Mustang's defense. Biggs will have to allow his bigs to fire from 3 point land. If they are hotter than season %, could be tough on BB. Look for J. Crawford to control boards when MC misses. Mustangs by 3, if weather allows the game to be played.

Mason playing GREAT basketball the past 2 weeks, I don't think they have as much trouble penetrating the defense as some people think, but they will definitely need to be on their A game in this one. Ill take the Royals by 8

Despite who wins I think this game prepares both teams for the tough matchups they'll see in the first round of districts. But I'll take BB on Sr. Night
