February 5, 201610 yr While he shouldn't have said it, who here doesn't think PacMan, Burfict and Mitchell aren't all idiots?

February 5, 201610 yr As I've said, Burfict is crazy. Pac is insane. Brown is lucky that Tez pulled up and only gave him the forearm. If he had pulled that Mike Mitchell garbage and hit him square with his shoulder/helmet he may not have had the chance to EVER play again. I'd like to think that Tez will mature and let these types of things go. On the other hand, I fully expect that he will light Brown up the first chance he gets and stand over him with the throat slash while staring down Joey Porter, daring him to come out and get him some.

February 7, 201610 yr While I don't like to see any player get hurt to the point that they miss games or have their careers shortened it is tackle football and still a brutal sport at times. Antonio Brown is the best receiver in football from a numbers standpoint but if he continues to put himself in the spotlight with his celebration antics, a la Ocho Stinko, he's going to become the target of many dbs and lbs who are going to want to put him on the sidelines permanently. With the number of plays that he is involved with over the middle he will become a good target for more of that treatment. He needs to shut up, play ball and act like he's been there after scoring! After all winning is the other teams livelihood also.

And we should NEVER be condoning such actions.

If you think that I was condoning this then you definitely misread my reply and yes it is a GAME played at that level by big, fast and sometimes violent men who are mainly out to get as much money as they can in the short amount of time they are in the league.
February 7, 201610 yr Guess you think Cam Newton is unprofessional as well? Is this thread about Cam Newton? If Cam Newton is trying to show someone up then yes it is unprofessional.
February 7, 201610 yr Is this thread about Cam Newton? If Cam Newton is trying to show someone up then yes it is unprofessional. Just drawing comparison to an example of this that is currently relevant, given he has his team in the SB. And that he and Brown represent a good 50 percent of the league that celebrates in such manner after a big play. This ain't the '50s.
February 7, 201610 yr The Steelers seem to have amnesia about all of their kill shot hits. Wouldn't expect any different from that bunch... Nailed it... :thumb:

So I guess a lot of defensive players who are now in the hall of fame should now be considered very dirty players who wanted to end players careers for the hits they put on people? Just because people now are paying more attention doesn't mean those hits in the old days didn't happen. So should those players be looked at different then?
