Moving out of NKAC Div III has made a huge impact in the improvement of the BB program at Beechwood.

Credit Michael Miller for making that gutsy decision. Unfortunately, it has taken longer than anticipated to pay dividends and may have cost him his job.

 

However, it was the right thing to do.

Question for you - in the past 10 years, how many baseball/football players have played around with basketball? I don't think there have been very many but you probably know better than me.

Here is what you don't understand, if you are going to play basketball and another one sport you have to put in the off season work. The football players at Beechwood never did this. You can play more than one sport and be successfull but you have to put in the work and respect those who do. So the answer to your ten year question is ALL of them.

As to trying to come off as the authority, I am just a big Beechwood fan who posts on here to applaud all the school's successes. If that comes across as me trying to come off as the authority, I am sorry you have that perception.

I heard C Jefferson mom say she wants an education first and sports 2nd. Heard they going to look at house in ft Mitchell. That would be a big plus to the program.

Jefferson won't be at Beechwood next year though, from what I've heard.

Exactly what I've heard as well.

There is a lot of basketball talent coming through Beechwood in the next few years. Even if Jefferson and Draud decide to leave for so called greener pastures there is still a ton left..
