...did a fantastic job over the last few days preparing us for a "doozy" of a winterstorm. I'll take his forecasts over the media meteorologists any day of the week!

And for the record I know some are salty ( pun intended ) in Boone, Kenton, and Campbell counties since we didn't get 3-5" but literally 30 miles south in Grant, Pendleton, and Bracken counties they did receive 4-6". The tip of NKY was just on the cusp.

I've got no problem heading to Perfect North Slopes and getting my snow tubing fix on there...:lol2: Thank you for what you do for us nWo. Your effort, time, and energy as I've said before is a blessing! :thumb:

Pace yourselves shoveling out and please post pics and share your accumulation totals here. Have a good rest of the weekend folks!

Thank you very much. I just try to put the info out there. I've never claimed to be a professional meteorologist. People can take or leave the info I post. The situation on I-75 wouldn't have been as bad if people would take the time to check conditions before they travel and prepare for the worst.

Just some of the pictures from nWo Manor! :thumb:

Nothing to be salty about. I've never understood why people get upset when we get less snow than called for. I'd rather be prepared and nothing happen, than to be completely unprepared should something happen.

Thanks to everyone. I just try to do the best I can with the knowledge I have. I'm taking a break today. I'll be back later if the info on the next system next week warrants it.

Well deserved rest! Thank you nWo!

I go straight to nWo's reports for my weather. Thanks for the updates and other info!

I measured the snow in a few places this morning and all were in the 17-18 inch range. That's the most I've seen in Booneville that I can remember out of one storm system. We've had deeper snows in the late '70s but it was due to several different systems and extreme extended cold weather that didn't allow much melting.
