Covington Holy Cross 62 Ludlow 55 (9th Region All "A")

It's called high school sports. You see games like this all the time where maybe 1 team is "supposed" to win easily over the other. Thing is games aren't played on paper. You have to give credit to Ludlow and I'm sure they can build off their performance tonigh going forward. For Holy Cross you can also learn knowing that you have to come ready to play every game not just against the big boys. I think the Indians will be ready to play on Wednesday im the next round.

Sorry all for taking the thread in a different direction. Congrats to HC for the win and Ludlow for playing their tails off.

Sometimes I take the opportunity to poke Camel haters in the eye.

You are exactly right

You are exactly right

He said it better.

Wasn't comparing the two... Making a point to afi100guy.

Pardon me then. :thumb:

I thought you were an adult but after reading all your post and seeing that you don't understand what you read and just want to try and start crap you must be a kid.

HC didn't play well or hard. They gave a lot of minutes to players who barely see the floor against good teams. HC is a very good team that is senior dominated and they had complete control of the game. They could turn it on and off at anytime they wanted to against a team with Ludlow's talent level. The kids from Ludlow played hard the whole way but they were out-manned and out-gunned tonight.

My reading comprehension is just fine. Proud dad of 5 Camels and don't hide it.

Definitely. Not taking anything away from Ludlow, but HC did not play like they are capable of. Worst performance and still get a win that I've seen out of them yet!

This initial post is what caused you these problems in this thread. You say not taking anything away from Ludlow, but then you turn right around and basically take it away from Ludlow. Put it this way, if you have to start off a post saying not to take away something from someone, then you are about to say something to put that team down. So best off not even saying that first part.

With that said it sounds like Ludlow played a great game and left it on the court, while Holy Cross still found away to win it in the end. Enough said.

Coach Wofford has done a great job with the Ludlow program. Keep playing hard boys and these types of game will start going your way soon!

First of all congratulations to Coach Schrand and his team for moving on. We are so proud of our Ludlow boys and their effort tonight. We developed a game plan and worked on it for days to give our kids the best chance tonight. They did everything we asked of them and that's all we can do! We preach to play with effort, energy and enthusiasm. Well we did just that tonight. People can say HC didn't play well but our kids had a lot to do with that. The reason Coach Wofford scheduled the Covcaths, Newcaths, Coopers, ryles, conners and north college hills was to be prepared for our district games and the All A. Give us a little credit! Our team deserves that. Our kids played solid defense tonight, took care of the basketball and made some big time plays. Proud to be a Panther everyday but even more so tonight. The tears were real after tonight's game. Our kids believed in the plan, believed in each other but just came up a little short.

Rack em! Perspective from a guy sitting right there. I'm out.

Congrats to your team, coach. It's awesome you have a great group of kids who buy in to the system and believe in each other. Sometimes, it's just not enough, but they have no reason to hang their heads.

well said.....check please.

Someone on here said it best Ludlow played a great or good game and HC played good enough to pull one out at the end. This game was a one point game at the half and Ludlow gave HC everything they could want from any team. Good game by Ludlow and HC to hang on for the win. JD
