What were the tragic events?

Maybe I'm wrong, and shouldn't have posted that, I'm sure the details will come out in time. For now I would rather not elaborate on what I think I might know.:D

Please feel free to strike my comment or ignore them as many already do.

I am pretty sure Carver will not be coaching at Brossart this year.

Carver is indeed no longer the coach at Brossart. Have not heard if Charlie Coleman has taken the job or not. I would expect an announcement from the school in the very near future.

I also heard that from another local head football coach, that Coach Coleman was getting back into.....I wonder if he would change his old strategy or stay with the traditional Bellevue Power I

And i guess this isnt a "garbage slinger" statement.

"Also, apparently the Mustangs won't be playing their slate of only three (3) home games at Campbell County Middle School Stadium as was rumored earlier on here. Judging by the intense opposition by many of the Camel faithful on here in an earlier thread, this should make many in Claryville quite proud!! ":irked:

Can we confirm or deny that any Brossart school person talked with the superintendent. If we know the answer to this, then that should tell us how CC feels.

Coach Carver is not the head coach at present - Charlie Coleman is.

A press release surrounding the change of guard was supposed to have been released mid-week. I haven't seen it.

Since the program was started under Coach Carver and much of his staff, who now comprise (and will remain on the Brossart staff), I doubt that Coach Coleman who just came on the scene in the last week has changed much of anything at this point.

Tex - This is a dead issue.

We will not be playing our games at CCMS this year.

Suffice it to say that representatives from both administrations discussed the issue and have accepted the decision for this year.

I am now hearing that Charlie Coleman WILL NOT be coaching the Mustangs this season. So it sounds as if Brossart might be back at square one in terms of a head coach. NOT a good thing with the season 2 weeks away.

Not a good start to the program.

It appears that Coach Coleman decided that the aggrevation of being a head coach has past him by (for now). He decided not to remain as head coach after a run-in with a vocal parent.

So we have two head coaches that have left the program and no explanation from the school as to why or what's going to happen now? Doesn't sound too organized and bad for the kids who are trying to establish this new program. Maybe Mustang can shed some light on this subject. He seems to be the man in the know on all Brossart sports programs.

Again, I have only attended one practice and did not make the trip to Louisville for the Atherton/KCD scrimmage.

I only know what I hear from others close to the program.

I do know enough to confirm that your information is accurate. It looks like we are going to have to add an additional page to our sports program in order to list all of our head football coaches before we have played our first "official" game.

Our third head coach will be a person who has been on the staff since day one and has head coaching experience. Hopefully, this will provide some stability for our kids and they can keep on with the job of learning how to become a good football team. The practice schedule has never been disrupted due to the change of the guard at the top and the student/athletes who comprise our program are practicing every day, learning the same system that was put in place from day one.

A press release was suppose to have been issued last week announcing Charlie Coleman to be the head coach, but before it was released Charlie has stepped down and a new press release will be forthcoming.

I have obligations to our high school and obviously have to fashion my statements to conform to their wishes, otherwise things like the BMustangs website and our chat board will not be long for this world - so I will respect their wishes and await the arrival of Press Release Two before stating anything more definitive.

I read today that the former Bracken County coach is the new HC and that Carver left because he did not have proper teaching certification to teach the subject that he was assigned at BB.

Many teachers in private schools teach subjects that they are not certified in.:sssh:
