I read today that the former Bracken County coach is the new HC and that Carver left because he did not have proper teaching certification to teach the subject that he was assigned at BB.

Where did you read something? I'd like to catch up on this saga. Have you got a link you can share?

It appears that Coach Coleman decided that the aggrevation of being a head coach has past him by (for now). He decided not to remain as head coach after a run-in with a vocal parent.

Good for Coach C...I think he still has the itch for coaching and this was probably an isolated incident. Don't be so sure he is done with coaching.

He does a great job on NKY Legends....keep it up Coach. :thumb:

This job would have been great, seeing as it is a new program located right by his house.Seriously, this would have been a great job for Coleman to take. I think that if this situation didn't work out, I don't see him coaching again. As a side note, Brossart is having problem with parents already??? They just started practicing.

Not a good sign if the parents are already stirring up problems.

He would have had a nice program in a few years..... wonder if he would have put in a play that goes outside of the tackles....:jump:

The words Buck, Slam and Power come to mind when I think of Coach Coleman.....

Parent--Singular!! And it is a shame, I think from all reports he would have done a good job.

A parent as in one!! This one parent has a track record!!! Pretty sad!!!

I don't mean this to be taken offensively, but what could that parent possibly know about his/her child's football ability after two weeks of practice. This isn't NKYFL or the JR. High league. This is high school football, all old achievements mean nothing.

I think most rational parents would agree with you!!

Not sure if it had anything do with questioning the ability of a player. I heard there was an injury to the player who was a senior .... and that could have caused the parent to be upset. What about, I don't know. I only heard this in passing.

Wasn't even a senior, a sophomore... Kind of ridiculous...

Well, look at it this way...things can only go up from here.
