Hinson coached last year and Paris played horrible...Augusta owns tha Hounds and best believe the 2016 squad is fully aware. #beatdownsbygreyhounds

This year's Paris is team is much more poised than last year's. In last year's game the Hounds made some uncharacteristic mistakes that led to their demise. Not seeing those this year. Gimme Paris by 12-14.

Whom ever wins this one will be going to Frankfort IMO. No disrespect to Brossart but tonight is the Championship game. The one who prevails will be taking loads of momentum in to Saturday night. I'm sure the Mustang fans will disagree with me, and rightfully so they will be the most rested team Saturday night. But I fell that the emotional high tonight winner will be on will carry them to victory over the stangs

Rest won't be an issue in the final game.

This should be a good one!

Didn't kno there was a correct way to make a comment on this site...what I can tell is.. there is a distinct dislike for Paris would elaborate on it but don't have to...thought I could get on a site and talk sports...no one has disrespected any kid that is participating..I simply have a son that plays and w the grace of God will play at the next level in which ever sport he chooses...and for the hashtags...once again its Paris fans that are using them so learn to like it or find another site to hate on. #RidewithusorcollidewithusQUOTE =RoyalWildcat;5815077]Augusta has the mental advantage, Paris has the athletic advantage. That being said Greyhounds by 12. #HashtagsNeedToStayOnTwitterNotBGP

I'll take Paris by 8.

On a side note, I'm about 3 for 44 lifetime in picking Augusta games.

Several AHS supporters just breathed a mass sigh of relief.

They'll be having a pep rally now.

Distinct dislike? No, I've never said anything about disliking Paris. I have several friends and some family who have taught and went there. Probably one of my favorite school systems because of the pride that is instilled down there.

Find another site to hate on? No, I don't think I will.... As I said before, I've never said anything about hating towards Paris. I have spoken my piece. If you consider that hate, then you need to reevaluate your thinking. I've not seen hashtags used on here before, and that includes other Paris fans.

May have to head west and catch this game tonight... Been a while since I've been in the Igloo.

Since you feel so compelled to explain your reasoning for liking Paris...I will explain the usage of hashtags...I own a customized t-shirt business where # are used frequently..#'s pay my bills. #BeatdownsbyGreyhounds

Paris fans are making it seem like no team can compete with them which is completely untrue. #9 ranked Bracken County competed with them for the first half and things fell apart after they came out of the locker room.

One thing I've seen in these Augusta kids is that they don't quit! If the team that played Bracken, Campbell, and SK shows up they win. If the team that played Mason, Pendleton, and St. Pat shows up they lose.

I hope to see Augusta win this game, I don't think Paris is mentally capable.

Understood. Hashtags have become popular and are a useful thing, and if you can market something, market it. Kind of like how Mason did the Tradition Never Graduates thing.... works well for a community.

Hope your son is blessed to have the opportunity to play at the next level.

Some people do care about things like this Mr Bear. Some people are very prideful of their school and that's an understandable thing. If I'm not mistaken, I'm sure that many people would say the same things about us Mason County people. Anymore many of the smaller schools (such as Paris, Augusta, Silver Grove, etc.) are being lost to consolidation. The school I went to in my early days was like Paris, but was swallowed up because of consolidation. I think these small city schools are the last bastion of community identity, because when you take the school out of the community, you lose the community. I would've loved for my kids to have gotten this kind of experience, that many take for granted. The reasoning for that is a different story though.

Now off of my high horse and back to work!
