January 11, 201610 yr Looks as if Mark Davis is ready to make a move. Insider Buzz: Raiders Owner Mark Davis Pursuing San Antonio Move If LA Bid Fails | Bleacher Report
January 11, 201610 yr Wow. I had forgotten that San Antonio was still in play for a team. The colors would match the Spurs so that's already covered.
January 11, 201610 yr Author Wow. I had forgotten that San Antonio was still in play for a team. The colors would match the Spurs so that's already covered. I think it would be a nice market to be in. Although, I wonder what division? Would they stay AFC West?

January 11, 201610 yr Author Wow those early season games would be HOOOOOOT You're not lying. But I like it. Change of scenery may be good for the franchise.
January 11, 201610 yr Wow those early season games would be HOOOOOOT I assume they'd at least start by playing in the Alamodome, which seats 65,000 but is supposedly expandable.
January 11, 201610 yr I assume they'd at least start by playing in the Alamodome, which seats 65,000 but is supposedly expandable. I think they'd have to play in a dome. I can't open the link, is there a plan for a building by the City of San Antonio?
January 11, 201610 yr I absolutely love San Antonio and I think they are more than deserving of an NFL Franchise. I personally hope this happens.
January 11, 201610 yr Author I think they'd have to play in a dome. I can't open the link, is there a plan for a building by the City of San Antonio? Mark Davis already has land in between San Antonio and Austin which he will use as leverage against Oakland to try and get them to turn over land to them. It also says Jerry Jones is trying to get a partnership together to try and get the Chargers and Rams in LA but could also potentially try and block the Raiders from going to Texas as well.
January 11, 201610 yr I seriously don't see how people can be die-hard NFL fans with all this garbage. If the Vikings ever left Minnesota (and they won't now that they railroaded that stadium past the taxpayers), it'd be the last I ever purposefully saw of the NFL.

But we always some to come crawling back (at least I speak for myself)...and the NFL knows this.
January 11, 201610 yr Ravens (From Cleveland), Chargers (From LA), Raiders (To and From LA), Chiefs (From Dallas), Titans (From Houston), Colts (From Baltimore), Browns (To Baltimore), Rams(From LA), Redskins (From Boston), Lions (From Portsmouth), Eagles (From Frankfort PA), Bears (From Decatur) and Cardinals (From St Louis) have all relocated at least once since their inception.

Rams originated in Cleveland, and Cardinals in Chicago. Every once in a while the NFL billionaires' men's club likes to move a team or two ... simply to keep those cities with NFL teams in line. Either do what the owner wants, or he might move your team, too.
January 11, 201610 yr What's going to be funny is watching the Rams and whichever other team moves to L.A. deal with past problems that resurface in about five years: an apathetic fan base, empty seats, lack of community support, etc. In other words, I'm not convinced L.A. will support one NFL team (despite its large population), much less two.
