If you invested the whole lot of the money, and earned an average of 3% per year on all investments, you would have roughly $15M per year of income to live on. I could live really well and do a whole lot of good with $15M per year. Yeah, there is a lot you could do to help people with that kind of money. You could fundamentally change 100's of lives if handled correctly.

One of my biggest complaints is welfare fraud, this would give me the money to develop pathways for less fortunate people. To change the lives of so many people would be incredibly rewarding.

That's crazy. 5 years ago, 20 of us at FedEx hit 4 of the 5 numbers and the powerball....had we hit all 5 and the PB we would have received 7.4 million after taxes. :cry: We each got a check for $365 after taxes. :meh:

I worked for three summers at Arlington Echo Outdoor Education Center (Anne Arundel County, MD) as a lifeguard and canoeing instructor. Biggest group there was a large group of special needs kids. One was a girl whose dad ran a huge sanitation company based in Annapolis. Her favorite song was Joy to the World (the Three Dog Night version). While he didn't hire that group, the band he did hire for her birthday played nothing but that song for the entire gig.
