Morillo misses a 3 at the buzzer that would have tied it.

Typical root canal trip to Tampa for the Bearcats. Just get on the plane with the W and move on...

GT, I know you're a UC fan and I don't fault you, but it seems like every game they've played the last ten years has been a "root canal" game.

Butler and Iowa State games were very exciting. Unfortunately UC didn't defend well enough to win. They are in the top 30 in offensive efficiency this year which is a big improvement, but up until the past 3 games the defense stunk. Working on finding a balance between the two, but not there yet...

Outscored 13-1 over the final 10 minutes...frustrating to watch.

Mick has a group on the floor that builds a 16 point lead then subs 5 for 5...Bearcats never recovered.

4 of those 5 started the 2nd half and sparked the 20-6 run. Hindsight is always 20/20...

You've got to hand it to Orlando Antigua. This USF team can't shoot, but they hang around. No quit in them. That OOC schedule may prove to be beneficial after all.

I like UC and thought early in the year that this season might be different than the past 10 or so where it just seemed like Mick is so defensive minded that it almost looked like they never practice offense. They are regressing offensively right now. I remember a few years ago after a game UC lost something like 54-52 Mic complaining about his defense and did not even mention how bad the offense was (which barely scored 50). I just think at some point you have to be better on the offensive end. The problem with UC is that no lead for them is safe because they can at any moment go on a 7 minute run where they don't score.

A very informed BB fan who is not a UC fan told me that watching UC's offense is like watching someone "chopping wood". I thought it was a great analogy. No fluidity and just hard work...and very hard to watch...

Regressing based on what? A bad game today? The numbers say otherwise...

Mick Cronin must not like humidity.

When he was stomping on the floor and screaming at the team in the late stages of the game, I thought it was hilarious. The sad part was his team could hear him stomp, as well as the 3 people watching the game. He got my attention. :D

Actually, whether all local or not, UC had a nice little vocal contingent, there.

Looked like plenty good seats were available.

Watching UC lately has been tough. Im a very big fan of UC but getting frusterated. No way they shouldnt have won that game by at least 15. They do always struggle at USF for whatever reason. 4 outta 5 games they have lost have been to ranked opponents by a total score of 16 points (10 of them to Xavier). Just hope they find their Offense Thankfully their defense has played very well Since the loss to temple.
