These two will square off at 7:30 January 2nd in Falmouth. These two were bitter rivals in the old 38th district and some feel they still are bitter rivals.

Who wins and why?

Hard to make a prediction without knowing the status of Dontaie Allen.

I can't see Pendleton beating Bracken without him. In fact, I'd say Bracken by double figures if Allen doesn't play.

Is Allen injured or sitting out for some other reason?

If Allen plays and is healthy I see Pendleton pulling this one out after I saw them in Augusta. But if not then it could be a long night for Coach Belcher and the Wildcats.

If Allen doesn't play I think BC wins this one. But if he does play then fans should be in for a treat. Can BC stop Allen? Can PC stop Crawford? I just can't pick a winner. So much so that if Allen plays I will likely drive to Falmouth to take this one in all the while wishing it was in Brooksville.

This. Nip-and-tuck affair is Allen is healthy.

If I'm not mistaken, didn't last year (lol) Bracken beat Pendleton at home with a buzzer beater by Austin Crawford. And then when Bracken went PC they lost by 20 and didn't have Dontae Allen? Belcher will find other players who can step up. You don't want to lose a home game to your rival.

If Allen doesn't play this may be ugly for PC. I hope the kid is OK, he has a very bright future. I do think generally that PC is a better than average defensive team and Coach Belcher always has a solid game plan.
