Should Mike Tomlin be worried?

Featured Replies

Every single team could use that excuse.

The Giants have led the league in games missed due to injury for three years, and it's not really close.

My dad's more crippled up than your dad.

My vote goes to the Ravens this year. They're more crippled up than mcpapa's dad for sure.

Last year I predicted he would be fired. I should have known better, he wasn't and won't be.

The injury to Bell doesn't hold water. Did it hurt, yes some, but Williams as played very well. Losing Big Ben for a few games was much more a problem. Just like AD being injured for the Bengals, Flacco for the Ravens, Luck for the Colts, etc.

Unless you get one position completely devastated, injury doesn't hold water unless it is a very good starting QB.

Tomlin isn't going anywhere unless he wants to.

Steelers window is closing. Big Ben is not getting any younger and the defense is already old.

The defense is far from old. That refrain won't work any longer

Only 5 of 32 coaches in the NFL have a better playoff winning percentage than Tomlin...he's 5-4 but that's good for 6th among active coaches based on winning percentage.

How many losing seasons has he had?

Zero...averages just over 10 wins per season

He's awful.

I've noticed that no Steelers fans are calling for his head...normally the home fans are the first to call for a coaches firing...not the fans of the teams under performing divisional little brother.

We are used to consistency and stability from the HC spot. He's not going anywhere.

Only place Tomlin is going is a 1st round playoff game at Three Rivers Stadium SouthWest next Sunday, if the Steelers get some help from Buffalo. Otherwise, he is back next year. He is not in any trouble.

Steelers fans have common sense, unlike some other fans in the AFC North. lol
