Jack Nicholson would not have a reason to say that. The vast majority of mass shootings are done by white young people. Extremely tragic either way, but white shootings are usually one and done. Now we know we have these terrorists all over the country who are smarter and better organized waiting to for their turn to reek their own brand of pain on the U.S.

I too wish it was "just a crazy white kid." Just because a black man says it doesn't make it racist.

 

Whites make up about what you'd expect in regards to percentages of mass shooters. They're not over represented at all in regards to shooters per population.

 

I think the same goes for black people.

For the record I agree with Samuel L Jackson and I'd go a step further and say I wish it were a white , black or Hispanic non Muslim US citizen that was just crazy.

 

The idea of the jihadist mentality taking a further hold here in United States is much more scary and becoming more of reality.

Not true. I'm not implying you said or did anything racially insensitive or tolerated racism.

 

It's your opinion that Sam Jack made an extremely racially insensitive statement about white people and that people on here are tolerating it because they disagree with it being a racist statement. I feel like people on here make racially insensitive statements about blacks on here at times and people tolerate it.

People see and hear what they want to see and hear. Sometimes it's there and sometimes it isn't. The argument becomes in who is "right" in what they see and hear and who is "wrong" in what they see and hear. More often than not when a black person says someone white said something racially insensitive people are quick to say it was taken out of context, that's not what was said, it wasn't racist or the new tag line..."people look for stuff to be offended by."

First of all, I do not get all my information from TV, so you there is no need for the condescending tone to your post.

I was referring to the fact that when there is a mass shooting, always covered by TV, the majority of the time, it is a white guy. At the time of my post, I did not feel the need to go look up stastics because I felt it was obvious and didn't need to support it like it was a hypothesis.

 

Secondly, your statistics support that.
