I'm glad to see Steven Nelson from the fighting Larkeys in North Laurel make the first team. I never got to see him play but from all accounts I have heard he is a helluva RB and had a fantastic season. Congratulations to Steven Nelson!!

Congrats to Josiah Robbins at Boyle County. He had a fantastic career and is one of the best athletes to ever walk the halls of Boyle County. Fantastic kid too. I'm grateful to have been able to watch him on the gridiron for four years and grateful to have seen him on the hardwood for four years as well.

So the CJ list at least 14 QB's better than Ryles Tanner Morgan. I find that hard to beleave.

OK, so let's try this, someone make a new thread and we as posters can make an "not on the list" All -State team. Comprise it of those worthy but not chosen for the CJ team or the all state team. Is there someone out there that would be interested in doing this?

Congrats to all the tremendous players honored this year! Would like to have seen Jack Wilson and Bernil Cecil from E-town mentioned for leading E-town to the 3A state semi finals and a 13-1 season. Wilson QB/ILB with over 1600 yards passing, 27 total TDs and over 100 tackles and Cecil RB with over 1600 yards rushing, over 13 yards per carry average and 20 TDs

This is just for fun but I'd take Male Coach Wolfe's All State team plus any guys he wants to replace on there w/ his players(Zach Smith for sure who easily is one of the best players in the state, shocked he wasn't 1st team) & spot the CJ team 14 points, all day long! Lol.... Any takers?!

After seeing this, it certainly explains a lot about why these teams are put together the way that they are. To only vote for Louisville kids and the team you played in the state final shows me the total lack of effort that was put into it.

Or it shows a coach that actually voted for the best players he's SEEN which says more than most of the coaches, especially the Jefferson County coaches, kudos to Coach Wolfe for Voting!! Now go gripe at all of the other no show coaches for not bothering to cast their vote, good grief.
