As a female who grew up with lots of sisters and who has given birth to and raised a female, and who works with both men and women, and who teaches adolescent males and females, I have have not experienced this Trump anti-female vulgarity that you speak of.

What we're likely seeing on this thread, and throughout the commonwealth, are intelligent women who know as well as everyone else that Trump is a sexist clown ... but they dare not say so because their husband, father, brother, etc. has a Trump sign on the front lawn.

Absurd that a candidate under FBI investigation is a front runner , for either party . Yeah Trump is coarse , yeah he sticks his foot ( feet?) in his mouth , yes he has bad hair .. but at the very least you know where you stand with him. And making our borders safer as opposed to the open border appeals to many a sane American. Might differ on other issues but national security hopefully will carry the eventual R nominee to the WH .

 

He's beyond coarse. I'm constantly amazed at the people who support Trump for the exact reasons they slammed Christie...out spoken, for instance. Says things people don't like, for instance. I'm a sorta-Christie fan. I could see myself voting for him over just about anyone running. My second choice (God help me) is Paul. If Trump is the choice and Hilary is the other choice, I'm forced to choose Hilary, despite several concerns.

I could never vote for Hillary because of her support for free trade agreements and for the h1-b visa program, which doles out jobs in my field to cheap foreign nationals. I also believe she is just too old for the rigour of the Presidency. Add that to liberal SCOTUS appointments and expanded gun control and there is no way I can consider it.

 

America is fed up with federal government and Trump is effectively cultivating this anger. I find his total disregard for political correctness refreshing and his candidacy having the potential to bring needed revolutionary change to presidential politics.

 

I find his Islamic immigration pause proposal to be completely reasonable, as France has already implemented similar immigration restrictions. I also find his ability to separate defence of country from foreign interventionism refreshing. His positions on free trade and other middle class issues appealing. Lastly, his financial independence frees him from influences that are not constructive for the general population.

 

Do you really want another President controlled by special interests and insensitive to the needs of the electorate?

 

If you don't believe Trump will be controlled by special interests, you're on another planet. OR, the special interests that would controlling him will be special interests you support, so, you'll be ok with it. It doesn't matter who wins, special interest groups will be working the scene. It's one of the problems with polotics, regardless of the party.

I find his comments offensive. Why? Because they are debasing. His intent is to marginalize strong females as somehow not capable because they are female. His words and attitudes remind me of a 45 year old man I've known since he was a frat boy in college. That guy always thought he could say anything to women, treat women like crap (and he did), and he could smile and play the "I was just playin'" card with a smile and it was just the women being thin skinned. He didn't really mean anything by it.

 

Trump's comments are offensive. But those in and of themselves are only one of the symptoms of a raging egomaniac. Most troubling to me is trying to envision him in the role of diplomat. Because whether you like it or not, the POTUS has to be able to work with the leaders of the world. Y'all say you want a Putin-like leader. Be careful what you wish for.

 

Frankly, I'm ready to write off all the people I know who are defending and supporting Trump. I'm tired of hearing how bad a choice Hilary is, while you support Trump. Neither are a good choice. So, if you want to be serious, you need to get to work finding a candidate that will appeal to those "easily offended" voters. Maybe some women aren't offended. I can think of some reasons they aren't. But there are a lot of us who are, and it's only the icing on the cake of things we find offensive about him.

 

In the end, Trump threatens the very foundation of the American ideal. I think most people are so wound up thinking they want the extreme opposite of Obama that they're blinded.

 

Don't make me vote for Hilary.

Bernie Sanders is a Socialist. I think that says enough about Bernie. Cant believe we are even talking about a Socialist for President of the United States.

 

Hillary Clinton is currently under FBI investigation. She is a proven liar in the Senate hearings. Told her family and close aids the truth about what was going on in Benghazi, while she told the American people it was a film. I could go on a very very long time with this list but for sake of time management I will stop there.

 

So now unless you can tell me something else on these people(Trump) that would disqualify him other than just his mouth( his ideas are pretty good ) I will pose the question to you? Who is the better candidate to lead America?

Trump IMO doesn't treat women bad, his own daughter turned out well and very successful and I'm sure she helps in the campaign and If he feels that way it would also be toward her and I feel she would reign him down a bit.

(1) I don't give a rat's behind who you vote for.

 

(2) Those who pretend Trump isn't a sexist clown are living in La-La Land or are adopting a head-in-the-sand attitude because they desire to keep peace in the family over the holidays.

 

(3) Mrs. Clinton by far is the smartest candidate in either field. That's one reason I'm voting for her. Is she the best choice to lead America? That's why we have elections.

The big problem for Republicans ain't Hillary. If Trump wins the nomination, do you seriously think that the establishment-Jeb Bush crowd is going to support Trump in the general election? Guess again. Similarly, if someone other than Trump wins the nomination, do you seriously think that Trump's supporters are automatically going to support Rubio or Bush or Cruz? Guess again.
