December 21, 201510 yr If it comes down to Hillary against Trump in the general election, will you sit it out or hold your nose and still vote? I am hearing a lot of people say they can't see themselves voting for either one. I heard one talking head for the GOP say the other day that he just could not vote for Trump for reasons of principle. One GOP strategist said on one of the "shows" that many of the Republican establishment have quietly indicated that they too would never vote for Trump and may have to hold their nose and vote for Hillary. The thinking is that if Trump wins, he will completely destroy the GOP and Republicans almost certainly will lose the House and Senate. Better to keep control of Congress according to these establishment Republicans than to have Trump in the White House and Democrats in control of Congress. Who will you support if it comes down to the Donald and the Madame Secretary? Will you vote for either of them or will you just stay at home and watch Ms Clinton's victory speech the evening of Nov. 8?
December 21, 201510 yr I can't sit it out if that's the choice. Donald Trump CAN NOT be allowed the presidency. Hillary is likely deeply corrupt and her vision of America is not my own... but I absolutely believe Trump to be a terribly dangerous man to put in that position.
December 21, 201510 yr Author Wouldn't surprise me if people like McConnell and other establishment Republicans vote for Hillary.

I think a lot of Republicans, as much as they hate to, would vote for Hillary for this very reason.
December 21, 201510 yr I could never and would never vote for Hillary. I'm hoping this isn't my choice but no way would I vote Hillary into power.
December 21, 201510 yr Author If you want to see the Democrats in control of both houses of Congress, elect Trump.
December 22, 201510 yr I actually think "President" Trump would be much tamer than "candidate" Trump. I think he had to come out swinging to make an impression early and he certainly did. The guy is not an idiot and is not a loose cannon as many depict IMO. I think everything he does is calculated. You don't build the business empire he has by being stupid or not in control of yourself. While he is not my first choice in the R party, I would vote for him in a heartbeat over Hillary, who I think is the definition of corrupt politician...on steroids... One thing that I think is VERY interesting is that neither the Dems or R establishment guys have trotted out some black, Muslim, Hispanic or woman employee or former employee to say that Trump treated them poorly or in a racist manner. Maybe they are waiting to see if he continues to do well before doing so. Or maybe they are trying their darndest and just cannot find one. A Trump presidency scares me MUCH less than a Hillary presidency...
December 22, 201510 yr If you want to see the Democrats in control of both houses of Congress, elect Trump. I don't see why you consider that a given. A lot of his ideas are not conservative. My brother in law is a pretty liberal guy (union employee) and he loves SOME of Trump's ideas for working guys...
