July 14, 200620 yr I thought Bronson was tomorrow, but I've been wrong once or twice... Isnt Bronson USUALLY after Harrang?
July 14, 200620 yr Isnt Bronson USUALLY after Harrang? Yes, but they said on Sunday that they were pushing him back a day to let him pitch in Pittsburgh (All-Star Game).
July 14, 200620 yr Arroyo is going Saturday night. The rotation coming out of the break would have been Harang, Arroyo, Milton, EZ. Arroyo was pushed back a night till Saturday so he would be available to pitch in the All-Star game, and Harang was pushed back a night after they let him pitch the 8th inning in the Saturday night game in Atlanta, and he ran his pitch count pretty high.
July 15, 200620 yr Yes, but they said on Sunday that they were pushing him back a day to let him pitch in Pittsburgh (All-Star Game). :thumb: :thumb:
July 15, 200620 yr Good memory LRCW, I had it wrong in my head. Here it is straight from Saturday's Enquirer: The rotation following the All-Star break will be Aaron Harang, Eric Milton, Bronson Arroyo and Elizardo Ramirez. The Reds put Arroyo third, instead of second, to allow him to pitch in the All-Star Game on Tuesday. The Reds don't need a fifth starter until July 22. Right now, Joe Mays is in that spot. ===================================================================== Clearly they switched it up (as LRCW alludes to above) since Milton pitched last night and Harang tonight, but I was wrong about the order between Arroyo and E-Z.
July 15, 200620 yr FYI, Kearns is 0-1 with a walk and a hit-by-pitch and Lopez is 0-3 in their Nationals' debuts.
July 15, 200620 yr Harang gives up a lead off double in the 6th, but gets Barmes, Helton, and Holliday to strand him right there. Heading to the bottom of the 6th, Reds lead 2-0. By the way, Royce Clayton drove in Run #2 with a ground out.
July 15, 200620 yr .By the way, Royce Clayton drove in Run #2 with a ground out. I was wondering how they got the 2nd run. Yahoo Gametracker only had the Dunn HR....that would explain it.:thumb:
July 15, 200620 yr Ladies and Gentleman, they have stopped the game in Cincinnati. Jason LaRue, in his 125th at-bat of the year, has had his average hit the .200 milestone. They are presenting him the ball at 1B. In all seriousness, for the 2nd night in a row, LaRue drives in a big 2-out rbi with a base-hit. 3-0 Reds.
