December 15, 201510 yr Being a retired high school Sp Ed teacher I always appreciated any thing my kids would give me. I had one student that made the best peanut butter roll candy. When my son was in school I always made candy or breads and jams for gifts, from Elementary all the way thorough high school. To me it was a way to show my appreciation for what the teachers did for my son.
December 15, 201510 yr So is that comparable to a Jim Schue "Like"? Some might say the satisfaction is even better. :thumb:
December 16, 201510 yr Fun college/high school spirit wear for the boyfriend/girlfriend can be nice. Last year at Christmas the HS boyfriend had just decided on his College. I was able to get to the College bookstore at get him shorts and a lanyard, which he loved. He’s still around this year (LOL) and I’m thinking a Bengals t-shirt. Nice job on the artistic supplies for the girlfriends, I like the personalization. Trendy gifts for high school/college girls are Alex & Ani bracelets; they aren’t too pricey, Dillards has a nice selection.
December 16, 201510 yr Nothing. Why should they get a gift for doing their job? Same goes for many lines of work. My mom always gives gifts to her paper carrier and her garbage men. The garbage men really appreciate her thoughtfulness, and were glad to drive up her driveway this spring, and haul away her old pool liner when they didn't have to.

I'm sure some BGPers could give me some ideas. Paging @rockmom , @Getslow
December 16, 201510 yr Every female I know is obsessed with those things. It's probably a safe bet. :lol2: This. Not sure what it is about them, but they love those things. Solid gift IMO.

Paging @rockmom , @Getslow You could do a license plate ftame or vAnita plate. There are also really cool window decals of the signature UL "L". I give my daughters fiancee a UK ornament every year. He likes that, so you might think along those lines. Or a beer stein.

Or perhaps that would be better suited for a wedding gift. :lol2::lol2:
