If Mason does win this game so what. This game means nothing. Just remember friends, he who laughs last laughs the hardest. And coach Hinson has had a history of laughing last against Mason Co as recent history has taught us

This is probably the best post on this thread. This game is an early regular season game that has little to no bearing on what will happen in February and March.

It's a 50/50 game if you ask me. I wouldn't be surprised to see either team win by 10+. Mason Co only decent win out of 4 is the Scott game in a strange game to say the least. Giving up an 18pt lead and with all the fouls in that one.

Bracken on the other hand has 2 losses to good teams and 3 ok wins. Getting beat by MoCo at MoCo by only 8 is a sign to me that this Bracken Co team may be better than what they are getting credit for. Double OT thriller to their arch rivals Augusta is another positive for me. That game could have went either way all the way up to the final minute of the 2nd OT.

I'll take BC by 6 in this one

Game could come down to how Sweeney and D. Williams. They need to rebound and make shots and Mason will be fine.

I wouldn't call Pineville, Robertson Co, and Fleming Co ok wins.

Ok what would you call them? Mason only has 1 decent win if we wanna compare wins and that was to Scott at the Feildhouse and they almost blew an 18 pt lead in the second half. The other 3 was a laugher to Western Brown, an 11 pt win over the majority 12th or 13th team in the 10th and most recently a 6 point win over a ok Woodford Co team.

I understand you are gonna support the Royals and justify them as an elite team in the region but neither team has really done anything "yet" to turn heads and make people take notice.

Every single win the Royals have had this season is a higher quality win than anyone Bracken Co has beaten. If you consider the Bracken Co wins "ok" then you have to consider the Mason Co wins good and the Scott win great. No one is saying the Royals are elite yet, just simply saying right now the Royals have done more than Bracken Co has to this point.

Well let's see, Scott was the #1 team in the region at the time. Bourbon is #11 and SK is a lot better than people give them credit for.

Robertson Co has the worst team they've ever had in the past 20 years, Fleming is 13th in the 16th region (arguably the worst region in the state) AND winless, and who in the world is Pineville?

I also never said Mason was an "elite team" they're better than people give them credit for but far from elite.

I consider Scott a good win for Mason Woodford an ok win and WB and Bourbon just a win.

Beating Western Brown is nothing to be excited about. And either Bourbon is on the cusp of great things or Mason just beat a mediocre team by only 11 pts. They are in the bottom 3rd of all the 10th region rankings reguarless of which one you choose

But beating a Fleming County team who is winless and at the bottom of the 16th region who most consider the weakest region in the state, a Robertson county team who basically lost 95% of their offensive production from the past 2 years, and who is pineville? But I guess if you consider those ok wins then more power to you.

What part of my post did you not read or not understand?

I said neither team has not done anything "yet" to really hang their hat on. Scott was a good win but they damn near blew that. That game being at Mason Co was the saving grace for the Royals. Not to mention all the fouls. Play that game at Scott or a neutral site and I'm not so sure Mason wins it.

What gives anyway this is a prediction thread where we give our predictions and reasoning behind those said predictions. Why are you so quick to jump on the posters that pick BC in what should be a good game?

Bracken County I am sure really wants to win this game, and Mason County is by most expected to win this game (by some in blow out fashion). In the Grand scheme of things this game does not mean :poop:. Maybe bragging right between the schools and their respective student bodies that's about it. What should be taken away from this game win or lose is how will it make each team better down the road.

Robertson Co has the worst team they've ever had in the past 20 years, Fleming is 13th in the 16th region (arguably the worst region in the state) AND winless, and who in the world is Pineville?

.

Mason County must've thought the Pineville game meant something because Buddy Biggs was there scouting :lol2:

If I recall correctly that was the only day that Mason/Bracken didn't have a game on the same day. So the fact he was at that game is completely irrelevant.

My point is that Mason County fans think they are going to walk in to Brooksville tonight and win by an easy 10-15 points, heck I've even seen someone say 25+. Bracken County is a tough place to win, especially for Mason County against Hinson. If Bracken loses so what? It would be great to win so we can knock Mason of their high horse for once. But Mason beat Augusta by 17 in the regular season and we all saw how the finals turned out. And last year Bracken beat Augusta by 18, and then Augusta turned around and beat Bracken by 7, without Snapp. So I guess we'll see how this one turns out,
