Found this article very interesting. Apparently NKY doesn't play "good enough" football, other than 1 player, to warrant any early offers. There are players that are in fact good enough to play at the D1 level and I will stand by the thought that NKY is simply not recruited and therefore there is some overlooked talent, but that's just my opinion. Not here to debate it because it is what it is but players such as Racke, Hendrix, Williams and several other NKY players would more than hold their own if they played across the river and more than likely would hold at least 1 offer. Again, not going to debate it and these players will certainly work hard and end up playing at the next level but I just found it interesting that of the 100s of very good players in NKY, only 1-2 hold an early offer.

He has a offer from Toledo and Illinois and Both are for linebacker too.

 

I read a site that listed all of Illinois' offers for the 2017 class and he's not on it.

 

Be careful about offers vs interest. No mention anywhere online about it.

I saw the post about offers vs. Interest so I'll clarify. We know for sure UK has interest(albeit I don't which sport probably football) Because Derrick himself tweeted it out. I only mentioned Illinos because someone else posted that never heard they offered myself. And I've heard a mix of offered and interest about Indiana.

Barnes tweeted that he was offered a scholarship from Illinois on November 25th.

Henschen can be a really nice QB. I'd like to see him change his throwing motion but he can be effective with it. Moves well out of the pocket. Nice athlete.

 

If he learns to trust his reads, and has more options releases into routes, he and Wrobleski could form a special combination.

Are we talking about the Barnes kid from Holy Cross? If so, I would like to know what position these coaches are recruiting him for.

If I'm understanding correctly, this kid Barnes has tweeted offers that are not verified by the programs web presence? Sounds like he might be a fallback recruit with several higher on the board. D1 recruiting is especially disingenuous.

I'd have to assume Football since although Barnes is a good Basketball player I don't think he's what Cal is looking for.

Jake Martin is going to garner some nice interest from colleges. He visited Indiana University last year and appears to be on their interest list.

The top qbs should be Racke, Morgan, Henschen and the CovCath kid.
