Can't just throw the Franklin game out. How many teams has Shelby played that has spread the field on them? Don't really know what SW does offensively however spreading the Shelby defense out improves your chance to move the ball consistently.

Let's just say that was the worst sideline crew that I have ever seen.

SW lines up in the shotgun and spreads it out. They run a lot of read option and the QB is as much of a threat as the RB. They don't pass a lot but are good at it when they do. They ran a flea flicker against FS, that while it hurt as an FS fan, it was a great play. Their talent is of course a good deal of their success, but their coaching is excellent and if they do have a drop in talent next year, I expect them to still be dangerous just because of the coach.

Very well said FS fan Shelby played 2 teams that spread you out 1 scored 31 in the rain the other 21 and should have scored two more tds

South Warren Is Overrated.

They are certainly a good football team, but they aren't miles ahead of everyone else in 4A like everyone makes them out to be.

Decent SOS, very familiar offense to Shelby, I think the road ends here for SW.

One scored 31, North Bullitt scored 7, and it took collins two games to score 21.

 

When your leading three receivers have 15,14, & 11 catches that's almost a catch a game it doesn't look like you throw the ball much! It will be a great game can't wait to get to kickoff I hate the wait..

That is not a bold statement, it is a fact. I have said it all year plus the next three years region 2 championship will be for state championship.

Spreading Shelby out against Franklin was not the problem. The problem they had was fixed the off week.

FS fans need to be thankful for the coach you have, Doug Preston knows his stuff and is a great coach. He doesn't spread it, but he just wins. You have been successful since he's been there, be thankful. SW will be great again next year too.

SW is a different level on defense. Shelby will have a difficult time moving the ball, the question is can Shelby's defense continue to play at the level. I think this will be a challenge because they will match up against an offense that will spread them out creating running lanes for the QB. SW's defense will also be the most physical and fundamentally sound Shelby has faced.

You obviously haven't seen SW much. I'm not a fan of theirs, but they aren't overrated and you will see that tomorrow night. SW is beatable, but it will take an almost perfect game to do it. That being said, good luck to both teams.

I do agree that whoever wins tomorrow on the west side will most likely win it all.
