Does anyone have any scores and details from first 2 games this week?

Ludlow 8th grade girls beat Bellevue (Erlanger Scrimmages), Tichenor, Campbell County (assume B-team since they are in the small school division) and Sharp. All margins have been greater than 15 points and probably pushing at least a 20 point margin in all games so far. As 7th graders this team went undefeated, but their best guard is only playing varsity this year. It has been great to see other girls step up.

St Pius beat 6th Grade Highlands

Highlands won 7th grade by about 10. some nice size at Highlands on this 7th grade team

St Pius 8th grade beat Highands by about 15.

 

Is this all the 8th grade Highands players? who moved up? I know they lost Macke but who else is not playing 8t grade?

I watched a very good game last night in Turkey Foot vs Conner 7th grade.

 

Conner played a great first half and led by about 14. Run by TF got them to within 4 but Conner got it back up to about 10 in the 2nd half and then TF made their final run and won the game.

 

Nice players on both teams. Fun game.

St. Agnes may be team to beat in NDA 7th grade league. Beat St. Paul, St. Pius & Blessed Sac by double digits. Not sure who is the team to beat in 8th grade.

St Pius is unbeaten in NDA league and the PSL league. I would say St Paul and BSS who Pius beat without Hagen yesterday would be the other two. In the PSL its Conner then Conner then Conner then Pius.

The 2 best 8th grade teams in NKY are probably Conner and WV.

THey played on Friday in a game that was scheduled early in the week with Conner winning. These 2 teams have played the last couple of years and a game was not scheduled this year but was added at the last minute. Apparently neither of these teams have had much competition this year. Walton plays mostly an 8th region type schedlue and does not play in the NKYMBL.

No 8th graders playing up. Drummonds is on the radar for Aaron Stamm. Bright future.

SVA 8th lost by ALOT to Gray (SVA PG absent but Gray was very very good), lost to St Pius by quite a few and beat Ockerman on a buzzer beater. About what was expected after only having 4 girls after tryouts. Camp Ernst this Tuesday and Conner on Thursday. Highlands and Woodlawn the following week before Christmas. Hoping to keep getting better going into the new year.
