Does IHM not have an 8th grade team?

Yes - I believe that IHM has an 8th grade team.

Does IHM not have an 8th grade team?

If IHM has one, they've chosen not to participate in the NKMSAA this year. They have fielded both 6th and 7th grade teams in the NKMSAA however.

There is a 6th, 7th and 8th grade team registered for a upcoming middle school tournament. The 7th & 8th grade teams appear to be coached by Hillenbrand.

Drummond girl from Conner 8th grade team is really good. A big with ball skills. Going to be a nice player the next 4 years for the Cougars.

Got to see her play last night in a 8-9pt Conner win over St. Pius. She wasn't a huge factor in the game BUT you can see the areas where she will make an impact in her next 4 years. I was surprised to see her playing so far away from the basket. Conner a lot of fun to watch as a 8th grade team, even from the view of a Pius parent. Very well coached, go 5-6 deep, move the ball very well. Play the in and out game well. Hats off to their 8th grade night. Players gave St Pius players a "gift" we thought it was tissues and band aids for the whooping they were about to give but Pius hung tough and led a lot in the first half. Impressive 8th grade team in Conner.

Ludlow 8th grade girls will play Dayton girls for the small school championship on Saturday...

Ludlow beat Sharp and Dayton beat Bracken Co tonight to get there...

Both Ludlow and Dayton only dressed 5 girls each.... I've never seen that before... And they both won.

^^^ forgot to mention... Dayton actually had a girl foul out with over 5 minutes to go in their game... Finished it with 4 players.

Is Pius in the 6th finals?

7th is TF vs Gray.

Dayton had a convincing 10pt+ win over Bracken. Like Ludlow they only had 5 players dress. Bracken lost their best player to what looked like a knee injury early in the 1st quarter. In the second quarter, their point guard picked up her second foul. While complaining about the 2nd foul call, she quickly picked up her third on a technical. That lead to the Bracken coach picking up two technical fouls and having to leave the game. Bracken never uprighted the ship after that. Dayton had one player in foul trouble. They played almost the whole 4th qtr with 4 girls.

Ludlow and Dayton will play for the 8th grade small school championship Saturday. It should be a good game!

Pius girls won the 6th grade championship.

Conner bested Camp Ernst 48-22 in the 8th.

RA Jones won the small school 7th grade.

Ludlow beat Dayton to win 8th grade for the repeat.

Two really nice guards on the RA 7th team.

Congratulations to Gray 7th grade girls on their championship win today.

Just like RA , Gray has two REALLY good guards and some other good talent. Only issue I had is they certainly didn't play smart. Had a nice lead but if you walked into the gym and didn't know Gray was winning you'd have thought they were losing. Jacking up shots from deep early in the possession instead of running an offense and making TF foul or waste clock.

Again, very nice team.

Two really nice guards on the RA 7th team.

I've seen those guards three times when they played up on the 8th grade team. Nice for 7th grade guards, struggled against Ludlow's 8th grade team, I don't think RA was within 20 pts any game. But definitely good 7th grade players.

Abby Mahan for Ludlow was probably one of the best guards in the small school 8th grade division. She had a great season. Definitely expecting big things from her these next few years.
