November 13, 201510 yr Beattyville is no vacation destination for sure, been there several times myself. However I have to think there are several places I KY and definitely around the country that would take this "distinction" before Beattyville would.

Perhaps irrelevant, but for me it makes me realize how absolutely lucky, fortunate, and blessed we are. Jumper Dad is right, its not something you would tell someone who earns that much, but reading statistics likes that just gives me a fresh perspective on how fortunate I am.

There's a "relative measure" to the world and a "relative measure " in the world which you live. In America, they are really, really poor.
