The SOS continually updates based on REAL results so Texas sucking HURTS ND's SOS.

16 is way too many. 8 is the right number. 5 conference winners, top ranked non power 5 school, and 2 power 5 wild cards.

So how do you explain the fact that Iowa escaped Pitt with a win, while ND rolled over them?

Most SOS calculations do NOT include teams you haven't yet played so I bet the SOS ND has does not include Stanford. It's only based on teams they've actually played. Stanford will HELP ND's SOS.

If anyone on here is truly 100% objective, then they are missing out on the best part of sports (besides actually playing), being a fan of a team. Yes I have my biases, as should we all. Granted I don't agree with a lot of the biases on here mainly the SEC bias, but this site wouldn't be any fun if everyone was objective. Arguing with objective people isn't fun. Arguing with all of you is fun.

But yet Oklahoma is not near ND in the rankings, when they have as good of an offense as any team in the country and have the best defense of any team in the Big 12. They have a good offense, but their past 3 opponents are AWFUL defensively. Like I said, luckily for the Sooners, they get a chance to earn their way. I know how strength of schedule works. Believe what you want to believe, but SOS takes into account how highly teams are regarded week by week, therefore in my eyes, that is speculation because you have no real way to see how good a team is until the end of the year. Also SOS does take into account the whole schedule not just who you have played so far. SOS is your schedule for the whole year.

Baylor v ND w/ ND winning at Stanford, I agree. Oklahoma w/ that gauntlet at the end of the year, I don't see it. I don't see them winning all 3 though either.
