Busy Weekend coming up.

Featured Replies

There is a lot going on this weekend, if you are a USF fan. I think I've got a plan down, maybe?

Friday night, Mrs. S and I plan on staying through at least the 1st half of the Women's Basketball opener against Jacksonville, at the USF Sundome. We'll then slide over to Corbett Stadium for the Men's AAC Soccer Tournament Semifinal match between USF and UConn, and stay, at least, through regulation. We'll end the night back in the Sundome for the MBB season opening game with Troy.

Saturday, if the Women's Soccer NCAA Tournament Match with Florida Gulf Coast is at 1 PM (there seems to be some kind of time conflict between the NCAA Bracket and GoUSFBulls.com) we may try to make that game, back at Corbett on campus. Then it's on to our tailgate for the Temple/USF football game at Raymond James Stadium at 7 PM.

I thought about getting tickets to the Cowboys/Bucs game, Sunday, but enough is enough.

Weather may decide everything for me, though.

Sounds like you guys are living the life down there, Rat. Sounds awesome. :thumb:

I have to say Rat, you must have one awesome wife.

That is awesome!

Side not rat: As much as I'd like to make it down next week for the UC/USF game, I have a big event on Saturday that I need to be here for.

You can be sure you won't see mcpapa there. He is going to an AARP function.

I'm right there with ya Swampy. I've got UC basketball Friday night at 7, football Saturday at 7:30 and basketball Sunday at 2. Busy weekend...

Mrs. S just pointed out to me, that we have a WBB game at 4 on Sunday afternoon. Also, if USF gets by UConn Friday night, the Championship game will be Sunday as well, probably earlier. Luckily, Corbett Stadium is adjacent to the Sundome, so we park and just go between venues.

The next 2 weeks are going to be nuts.

Monday, the 16th, NJIT vs USF MBB at the Sundome.

Thursday, the 19th, USF MBB hosts George Washington and MSOC plays in the NCAA Men's Soccer Tournament, maybe hosting.

Friday, the 20th, UC vs USF Football at Raymond James 8 PM.

Saturday, the 21st, Boston University vs USF MBB.

Tuesday, the 24th, Albany vs USF MBB.

Wednesday, the 25th, Butler vs USF WBB.

Thursday, the 26th, Thanksgiving Day, we'll be in Orlando for USF at UCF Football at 7:30 PM.

Friday, the 27th, we'll be at the Miami Hoophall Invitational for USF vs UK at 5 PM and Ohio State vs Memphis following.

Saturday, the 28th, the Men could be hosting a NCAA Soccer Tournament 2nd round match.

Sunday, the 29th, MBB hosts Savannah State.

Too bad. We were looking forward to teaching how to properly tailgate. :D

The offer is always open. The basketball Bearcats play here on January 10 at noon.

I feel ya. Getting through November as the fall and winter sports cross is by far my busiest time of the year. A slow day is covering 1 game/practice/presser for at least a month...
