They lost by 7 to a one-loss Temple team. Temple is currently #21.

Lost by 3 on the road to the #16 team.

Lost by a TD to a top 25 team in Memphis- on the road.

Lost to a pretty good BYU team on the road.

Actually it is quite watchable as their games are very entertaining and usually shootouts. As far as Tuberville goes I kind of am interested as to where things go if they do not make a bowl game.

 

As far as conference affiliation their football wins and losses do not make up anywhere near as much of an impact on who takes them or does not take them (see Rutgers going to the Big10). So much more to getting into a conference than that.

And that Memphis lose included what I believe to be a terrible replay reversal late in the game. What should've been a fumble recovery by UC with about 2:20 left and UC around Memphis' 30 yard line (in a tie game) ended up being Memphis ball. They drove down the field to go up 7 with just less than a minute left.

UC has been competitive in nearly all of their games. UC has been a stepping stone program, but they have a HC who has won in the SEC and who has strong personal ties to SW Ohio. Tuberville is not at the career stage where he is always looking for the next career move, which together with his personal ties, provides a formula for stability.
